14 years old and high on ye old marijuana for one of the first times ever, walked out my front door to see a friend off to his car at 3:00am after playing Halo 3 matchmaking (right after it came out) all night and we were promptly surrounded by 5 SWAT members with assault rifles because a heroin dealer 1 1/2 blocks away fired a shotgun off into the ceiling of his house during a fight with his girlfriend; and ran off into the neighborhood before the cops arrived. Fun night.

i have a pretty hilarious police story! i was a high school student at the time, and it was a boarding school where we stayed for 6 days out of the week and go home on weekends. well, i used to smoke weed even back then, and obviously smoking weed at school would get me expelled and in serious trouble. i kept my bong and paraphernalia under my mattress. me and my roommate also had a few hookahs and although the school didn't approve of smoking in general, it would ultimately get me in less trouble than if i were to get caught smoking weed. another crucial fact to the story is the fact that a friend of ours from school lives near a village where they grow tobacco and he told us he could steal a few plants for us to grow at school. (the school specialized in an organic agriculture program) he did, and we grew the plants, even though we had no idea what we were doing. we dried the tobacco leaves when ripe, and unfortunately dried them so much that they would just crumble to dust so you couldn't even roll it into a cigarette, and so the only way to "try it" would be smoking it in a bong. and so even though i had no weed at the time, i left my bong in it's usual spot with the tobacco. now i can finally get to the story itself. there was a group of thieves among the students who would enter other kids rooms and steal their stuff, and the faculty and the rest of the students couldn't find out who they were for a while, since they kept doing it while they knew the owners wouldn't be in their room. one day i randomly decided to ditch PE class and go back to my room to chill, and as i entered my room, i caught 3 kids (the thieves) in my room messing with my and my roommate's stuff. i kicked them out and called the counselor and told him what happened. he went immediately to have a talk with them, and i stayed in my room expecting him to tell me just how much trouble they're in. to my surprise he came back, immediately lifted my mattress and confiscated the bong and what he could only see were dry green leaves all ground up. i urged him to understand that this was just tobacco but i can easily understand why under the circumstances he would suspect i'm lying to him. apparently the thieves have found my "stash" and ratted on me to the counselor i guess in an effort to get into less trouble themselves. the counselor said we will talk in the morning and i thought nothing of it, except that maybe they will tell my dad that they caught me smoking. the next morning i went to class, and during class, i could see a group of cops going to raid my room and look for evidence. the counselor handed them the bong (which i used to smoke weed in) and the "dried green leaves" that i kept insisting was tobacco. after class they told me that i'm going to the station for investigation. (the place where the school is it is a very small town with maybe 2 cops on duty at a time.) we got to the station and they started trying to pressure me into telling them "who sold me the weed", while i keep insisting that it's not. they said that since they're not qualified to handle minors they will need to take me to their central office for a youth-investigator. they asked me if i would rather go with my counselor or in the police car and being the cocky little brat that i was, i decided "what the heck....i won't ever get a chance like this again". and so they took me in their cop car. and in it a super nice female officer tried to sweet talk me into "admitting it" casually, and still i kept insisting that it's just tobacco. (after all, it was the truth lol) i had some more adventures with them on the way (for instance them using the loudspeaker to ask a local hookah shop the price of a really cool hookah i said i was interested in XD ) and finally i got to the huge regional office where i waited for a long time for the special investigator to interrogate me. as you would expect he tried threatening me to admit everything so that i won't waste their time, and they would consider that and go easy on me etc. the usual cop bullshit, and unphased i kept repeating that this is a mistake on their part and it's just tobacco. he told me that he has been in the force for over 30 years, and that "i'm a fool to assume he can't tell marijuana when he sees it!". and then after just constantly repeating the same mantras he gave me an ultimatum: he said "listen, we have a drug test kit right here, we can test it right now and if we find that it's weed, you will be in more trouble than you can imagine, for wasting our time and lying to me....but if you admit it right now, you can go back with your counselor until we get the lab results to confirm everything." (the bong and tobacco were stored together in a sealed evidence bag) i obviously said "go ahead then and test it". at this point i was kinda worried because i did in fact use the bong to smoke weed in the past, and if he ends up testing THAT or something, im screwed! muttering angrily he stormed out of the office to get the officer with the kit who can test it. he brought him into the office, raging and shouting at me because now he had to open the sealed evidence bag and it will cause him extra paperwork and explaining why he had opened a sealed evidence bag etc. this whole time, i'm being threatened and shouted at by this youth-investigator as he opened the bag, took out the container with the tobacco in it, gave it a sniff, and then hilariously said: "listen, i am going to make sure your life will become a living hell, because this smells exactly like weed and you have just been wasting our time for nothing!" still i insisted they test it. they told me to wait outside, and i did. after a few minutes i suddenly hear a loud thump on the table and the investigator stormed out of the office and went away passing by me, trying not to meet my eyes as he did so, and the 'test kit officer' started laughing his ass off, came out of the investigator's office, handed me my bong and the tobacco and asked if i wanted to keep them, and i said no and just threw them in the trash right there in the police station (actual evidence of my illegal activity! lol) and i was let go. seeing the humiliation and rage on that investigators face as he stormed out of the office is still one of the most glorious moments of winning i ever had in my life XD it probably wouldn't be as funny if he wouldn't be so absolutely sure of himself that his 30 years of experience on the force, and in him being a "drug specialist"....just to get caught with his pants down in front of a junior officer, who would undoubtedly now spread this encounter around the station. how a 15 year old boy, pwned the fuck out of a senior investigator. XD during the incident i had to let my dad know of what's happening, but i told him he can trust me and that there's nothing to worry about and it's a misunderstanding. he actually did trust me and i could eventually call back to share this hilarious story with him as well.

I have a funny story about my uncle when he got stopped by the police. Long story short, he called the cop a rookie. Back story: my uncle was a policeman and I believe he was a dispatcher at the time and still has the shield thing on his license plates. Here mine. I hit a deer in October 2020 after a month of having a new vehicle for the first time. When the cops showed up, one of them joked, after asking me the questions, that they had to take me in for hitting a deer. I was still in shock and just said, “don’t joke about it with me.”

Well, technically, it's my father's story, not mine, but it is a family favorite. I was five, six-ish at the time, Dad was in the Air Force, and we were living in military housing in Wiesbaden, Germany. ANd we had a cat named Sunshine (I was a kid, okay?) who liked to go outside and wander the neighborhood. One evening, there is a knock on the door. My dad answers to find two Security Police (AF version of MPs) standing there. They aren't wary, hostile, or any other emotion that might cause any of us to be anxious in return. In fact, they seem a little ... sheepish?... and there's a bit of smothered laughter under the surface. Once Dad has verified his identity, they get to the purpose of the visit. "Sir, we've received a complaint about your cat." "My cat?" "Yes. It appears," a cough, a bit more smothered laughter, and a bit of effort to get back under control. "It appears to be harassing the neighbor's, um... Saint Bernard." The SPs might have been a bit confused at my father's unsurprised shrug, but a moment later, they got a bit of clarification. Sunshine decided to make an appearance. That cutesy name that a child obviously picked? Well, it was attatched to a fairly massive black and white tom cat. Not Maine Coon sized, but still very impressive.

I've had a few incounters with the Police too, both times they simply stopped me, asked questions and let me go. The first time, I was out on my daily walk very late, and it was close to midnight when I was almost home, when a car drove past, stopped and backed toward me before two cops jumped out and began asking me questions. I assume it was because there had been a few break-ins in the area and they wanted to make sure I lived there. The second time, it was because they'd gotten a tip about drug dealers in my area, and once again wanted to make sure I lived there and wasn't in the area for other reasons. Later that might I did hear some commotion, like yelling and even guns being fired. But I didn't really realize what was going on until the next day when I ran into one of my neighnours who had seen it all and told me what happend.

Driving in general scares the hell out of me. I try as much as possible to follow all of the rules, but I always have a fear that I'm going to get pulled over for breaking some law I didn't know I was breaking. I can also relate to the 1 ticket thing. Only been pulled over once, around last Christmas because I was going like 5 miles above the speed limit. Guy was a jack ass, never had a warning, ticket or anything and he gives me a fucking ticket. Everybody I ride with always makes fun of how slow I drive, and you bet your ass I drive even slower now.

One day in my sophomore year of college I heard a banging at my dorm door at like 6AM and my roommate who was closer to the door answered it after hearing even harder banging and it was the cops. They seemed really irritated and I was half awake not understanding the situation. The problem here is that the dorm room was small and had minimal privacy so I made a makeshift divider but it looked sketchy af. The cops were like "you hiding anyone in here?" and my roommate said no and then I popped my head up and I said I was the only one over there. The dividers were sketchy enough but I also, to give myself more space, moved by bed partially into my closet. The cops looked at me and were like "Sir what are you doing in the closet" and I explained and they said "Ok we're just looking for a guy and you looked suspicious. Sorry to bother" and they just left. I immediately moved my bed and took down the dividers

While the story didnt make me think of a time of being pulled over by a cop it did make me remember the time i felt like a nusices in the road lol one time my car broke down at a red light at the beginning [or end depending on how u look at it] of a Express ways back into the city it just died while stopped.... the brake was just stuck along with the steering wheel the key turned off on it own but all the lights were on so the battery was working I put my hazard lights on called my mom and she said to see if I could get it going again we hung up and not too long after the light turned green again I was trying to figure if I could get it going and an 18 wheeler blew his horn on me i hadn't even realized he pulled up and that had made me panic more especially when traffic starting going off by the time I could figure out an idea the light turned red and traffic kept going off at me it probably just frustration and honestly I felt like the biggest nuisance on the street and when that light turned green I turned on the car and before it could die on me I slammed on the gas and it seemed like it was gonna die and a car pass the red light right before my car roared to life just as the car passed my car accelerated down like it was a race And then I realized another problem there was another light ahead and a bunch more until I can get home and my car was dieing everytime I was braked even tho I was on Drive a autozone was pulling up soon and im going pretty FAST and just gaining speed .....since the roads were clear from the light ahead I turned into the autozone a little too quickly then I was comfortable with in a jeep but the istant the car was at a completely stop it die despite it being in D rive. I put it in park and took the key out and I called my mom again a little shaken up and this nice man that Really like Freemasons memorabilia help us get my car going again.... and we were able to use again it didnt give me that probably again now I have another proble but I'm not even surprised anymore it a 13 year old car and it when through a real beating but yea your story for what ever reason reminded me of the time I too panic on the road ....... adventures arent always fun ones

this happened when i was 12 ish. me and my friend were playing soccer on the street. some old lady came out and started screaming at us to get off the road(although it was empty and there were no cars ) so we go to our neighbourhood park. it was one of those where there were no swings and stuff and the gardener comes out and shoos us away.it was supposed to be a walking park,true, but there were no people ya know WALKING.so we get into an argument and there is this bench right outside the park where the cops that are on patrol like to chill out.so he calls one of them and he's like ya know tell these kids off for playing sports in a walking park. but the other cop comes in and he supports us and then we play soccer with two cops. pretty fucking dope

I got three stories. When me and 3 of my friends were going to Mackinac Island for our high school graduation we were going 2 miles over the speed limit and passed a trooper. Our dumbasses waved at the trooper and he pulled us over (I was not driving). The other story is very similar with me pulling over along with another car and I waz waved along. Now the third story almost got me in BIG trouble. We were parked in a parking lot of a park at like 1 in the morning and we had weed on us. My dumbass (I was not high. I was driving) noticed the plant car but didn't do anything about it. Two county cop cars pulled us over and gave us so much shit. I didn't get in trouble because none of it was mine but my two friends with me got probation. I think they were tired of stupid kids doing this and confiscated the shit thank god

It was in the day of my biology exam in grade 12th. When writing our matric exams we need to hand in a piece of paper or else we aren't allowed to write. We were standing in the row to get intrence when I realized I forgot mine at home. Home is a 20 minute drive and I only have 30 minutes before the tests starts So I jumped into the car and ignored every speed limitation and got to home in almost 10 minutes ,found my paper and raced back. It was then that my haert stopped. The cops... My car had no licence and I only had a learners and was driving way over the speed limit with no seat belt . So when I saw the traffic police in front of me I slowly reached over for the seat belt and slowed down... I think I even started to pray not get pulled over, got my case on order and just sneaked behind them for 5 minutes all the while stressing out about my test that's about to start anytime My hart skipped a beat when I saw a light go off, their indicators were showing they were about to turn so when they left I gunned it all the way to school and made it just in time I passed on that day, not only in bilogy but in life

i got detained for shoplifting once and got walked out in cuffs when i was 17. girl from my high school saw me get walked out of the building by a cop in handcuffs. then a rumor came out that i tried to rob the place at gunpoint. also had an experience where a cop walked up my friends driveway. we were super nervous cuz we were just a bunch of 14-15 yr olds and just hid booze in the woods and we thought they found it. turns out they just were asking to find another kid in our neighborhood that bailed on house arrest and asked us if we saw him.

I haven't been pulled over yet, but I was in a similar situation. I was in the car and the traffic light was red. Then, I've heard a siren coming closer . When I saw it, I've recognised that it's an ambulance. I was also like "Fuck! What do I do now?!". Luckily, my mother was in the car too (Every Saturday, we go shopping for food.). I drove over the red light in order to make room for the ambulance. It's a really narrow part of the street too. This is just something which you have to practice. You always get told the hypothetical scenario, but you don't recognise it in the same way.
