This is the #1 and 2 things i was waiting to hear about the falcon. #1 How the street tire felt compared to the knobby. #2 How which spring for my 230lbs. One reviewer still recommended the lighter spring. Thanks for the video! And thanks to the other commenter's 🤘

Same observation on my A2. Almost retuned the thing, but decided to try to knobby tire first. The street tire shouldn’t even be an option for those wheels.

Wow i didn't know you reviewed EUC until now. I'd like to see you review the Nosfet Apex and the Begode Xway. I learned from switching from the stock tire to the RSC racing slicks on my Dualtron Ultra 2 that tires can make our break anything. The stock tires were very unstable and made the scooter sketchy at high speeds. Now, I can hit speeds of 60 mph very comfortably. I can also throw that scooter into turns with a lot more confidence. I will say that the Shinko 244 that came on my Commander Mini was perfect right out of the box, so i don't see the need to change it until it wears out. Then i might try something different.

I totally agree with the design flaw in not having access to adjust the suspension. I really don't get how they have overlooked that. Fortunately for me the wheel is fine out the box in terms of the suspension. I did put on my own pads and an LED kit to light it up. Thanks for giving the Falcon another chance to be reviewed.

I have the same wheel and same tire, same pads too, just a fun little wheel, I grab it more than most my wheels, I'm not a long distance guy so the Falcon checks a lot of boxes, I did install the stiffer springs which made a nice difference for my 200+ lbs.

It's good to see an EUC review on your channel. I'm surprised you haven't done a Lynx review. Guess that's partly because there's been no shop wheel. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Lynx.

Great review Scott, you've earned a new subscriber! Did you have any trouble removing the suspension head screws? I've read comments from other Falcon owners who've attempted replacing suspension springs remark that they've broken tools or bolt heads attempting to replace springs. One reviewer wrote he used a torch to heat up the screws before removing. Did you use a torch also? Also how much do you weigh? Thanks!

Thanks mate and yea love the Falcon, Yes those top bolts on the suspension tubes were an absolute nightmare After breaking a number it hex bits we used a solder iron to heat them up. Super annoying
@boblatkey71603 ай бұрын
Took those pads off and used stanchion lubricant on the suspension and did not touch the suspension settings at all and what a blast this little thing is. My Lynx is giving me dirty looks! I told her to hang on and that I'll be back. I took the falcon up some steep Rocky mountain bike trails that are a little too gnarly for my Lynx and I started laughing at how nimble it was and I was making sections that I couldn't make before.

Great followup review Scott! Question: Do smaller bumps feel softer with the heavier springs? I'm 185lbs with gear and find the suspension feels stiff on smaller bumps. I've tried various rebound settings and thinking the issue is that I have to much pre-load and losing alot of the initial travel.

*Nice to see a robust, futuristic design aesthetic on a smaller wheel* 🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽 Can't believe how fast you're zippin around on that! Pretty freakin agile too by the looks of it. I tend to make a lotta adjustments as I ride a PEVs, sometimes for weeks, even months, havin to remove a piece/pieces to adjust rebound would get annoyin 😭 ps Love the denim jacket/shacket!

I'm 59 years old and it took me about two weeks to have enough confidence to hit the city streets. After practicing almost an hour every single day I hit a new plateau at about two months where my fear factor went way down and my confidence went way up. Literally, the better you get the funner it is!

Im 45 and never seen one in person until about a month ago. Within a Brave 15 minutes i was able to ride it for a solid 1 minute in a haphazard wandering of direction kinda way. 45 minutes in and i could have piddled around for all day except my legs and ankles were beat up from the pedals and muscle strain. I would continue to ride on and off, feeling much more comfortable on the grass than the street until eventually now a month later i can zip around almost without issue, having a blast, yet super excited about still having much to learn

How does this ride compared to the ks s18?
@scottdaviesyoutube3 ай бұрын
Hey Tiff, Acceleration is a lot stronger (due to rim size and 100v The suspension feels a lot more energetic
@looty_thejackrussell3 ай бұрын
S18 rider here, and recently got the Falcon with knobby. The Falcon feels like it has alot more power and get's to speed much faster. It's similar in weight, but waay easier to walk around and carry the falcon on stairs. I think the S18 is a better balanced wheel where the Falcon feels a bit top heavy comparatively. Could be the higher pedals and my lack of miles on it. For me, this is not quite a replacement for the S18 which is for comfort, and casual/seated riding, and Falcon for trails. I also have a soft coil shock 550lbs on my S18 which is super cush for longer rides. The softer coils on the falcon are ok, rides like an air shock where it gets stiffer at the end of travel.
