Disruptor is only a counter when infestors uses neural, Serral later spend the energy on infested terran instead and it rendered disruptors pretty much useless.

The infestors aren't the problem. Corrupors win against both carriers and tempest and so protoss never can attack the infestors with their air army anyway. However some vipers would be very nice against the mothership.

How is Zerg not considered OP by it's players? I barely ever play Zerg and I'm always in awe by my win rate with them. They have the fastest tech switch, most spells, low cost macro infrastructure build up, FREE units with infestors, and moving "static" defence bulidings.

Awesome game but I can't help feeling that the amount of zerg free units is disgusting : free instantaneous armies of expendables infested terrains, broodlings with a insane range after being spawned by the broodlords, taking control of enemies capital units for free and turning those back onto their original armies, free armies with the swarm host, all that with the corruptors being insanely good at anti air and having even an air to ground attack capability. It feels like too much. At the end of the game they even have a speed and sight bonus on the whole map due to the creep all over the place (even if it consumes apm, it's a huge bonus). When you add the viper ability to pick up capital units and the infestor ability to immobilize entire armies, you know that you can't even outmaneuver them! Nice fights with the disruptors though

Just throw 20+ down and attack move while your infestors run back to recharge energy and do it again. If you chase, Zerg drones repurposed themselves into anti-air or anti-ground units and neural parasite just does all the work. Zerg needs a nerf.

@@SC2HL I was being a bit facetious, apologies if that didn't come through. But 1 at the start, 3 ad breaks in the middle (not 2) and one at the end. Plus the fact that every break plays 2 ads makes it 10 total actual ads for a 15 min video. Worst part is what's out of your control: They're all for greedy and shitty asset flip mobile games that does nothing but pray on users by loading them down with microtransactions and lootboxes (The games are so bad I could literally cobble one of equal quality together in a week if I wanted.. If I didn't have a soul I might have been tempted) .

@jimmy sherrer it's not about the series. Hell it's not even about the winrate. I never talked about who has the best winrate or championships, I only talked about "domination". Whenever I see Serral playing he just absolutely destroys the opponent whether they are Zerg, Terran, or Protoss. They can't deal with him. Almost every Serral's match ends with Serral's decisive wins and he makes barely any mistakes. One of the best aspects of Serral is the fact that he is just good with every zerg units. He doesn't shy away from using every unit in the game if he has to and that's saying a lot. Most pro players usually have their style and build; Serral adapts accordingly.

@@xlMERCURYlx It is called defensive gaming like supply control since Z has cheap units early to mid game. Never go to a greedy build like three hatch in mines, instead rush to a hive tech, then go on from there. That has been Serral's build, safe, no proxies, defend the line, finish the game mid game if there is an opening, but always go late for WINfestors. 100% win rate against P, 80% against T.

PVZ early/mid game is Protoss 7 : 3 Zerg, late game is Protoss 1 : 9 Zerg. Zerg's game is to hold out against Protoss and drag it into late game for absolute dominance. Most Zerg players can't make it but Serral can. This is why there's so many Protoss players making top 8 but very few Protoss player get to win the tournament. Stats winning this match is a tough fight and a first in a long time since Protoss last won any major tournament. In the next patch, Blizzard will nerf Protoss early game against Zerg, this would greatly improve Zerg's chance to get to the late game. Unfortunately there's no buff to Protoss late game and it still can't do shit against Zerg late game.

Well Zerg is really strong late game thats for sure but only if you have a very high skill player like Serral who is the best Zerg in the world right now. Late game zerg has a lot of units that have abilities which combo well together such as fungal and neural parasite or the pull ability of the Viper. If you don't have as much micro-skill its much harder to pull off and protoss often gets the upper hand since their late game units are also very strong but not as micro-intensive.

I think the fights serral won were just on creep or where the disruptors were stuck behind minerals or something. Its so hard to clear creep vs infestors though so I understand its an isssue. Maybe stats could have tried a kind of terran style slow push using disruptors like siege tanks and the tempests to snipe anything in the air killing disruptors. Or just give protoss ghosts xd

I think its fine in general except for its infested terrans, that free unit hits as hard as a hydra and is bugged where its attacks are not reduced by opponent unit's armor. A single full energy infestor can spawn 8 infested terrans at once, which has over 4x higher total dps and hp than a single hydra which cost the same supply. I think they should fix the armor penetration bug and make it so that it also does not get bonus from weapon and armor upgrades. That should reduce some of the mass infestors dominance. They should also make Overseer cost 1 supply, even if they make it's cost cheaper. This would prevent Zerg players from morphing too many overseers, Serral had like 6-8 Overseers with its units, it makes it impossible for Protoss to destroy Zerg's detection ability. Not to mention Overseer has 200HP, which is a good unit to tank some of Protoss attacks. If Protoss has a chance to take out Overseers and Zerg's detection, this would force Zerg players to spend some of its infestor energy using fungal for detection, which would further balance against the infestor dominance.
