Scafell Pike England's highest mountain. Featuring Lord's Rake

Hi everyone, I'm back in the Lake District for another big day out. This time i'm heading up to England's highest mountain...Scafell Pike.
We'll also be bagging three other wainwrights on this one, so four in total.
First up is Lingmell, then from there onto a very windy Scafell Pike, onto Scafell, finishing off down to Slight Side then we'll make our way back to the car.
This was a very British summer time kinda day.

Good walk! Fancy black Crag tipping up. Also honourable mention to my mam! In that area, a little old lady in a Nissan Micra Wonderful summit view. 10th June was a very atmospheric day. Very considerate with the sheep and the drone. Good thinking

Excellent video, Richard! You captured Lord's Rake and the West Wall Traverse just like it is. This is a tough walk, and you're spot-on, I wouldn't do this route with a full camping pack on. Who'd have thought you'd encounter hail in June? Keep it up!

Well done tackling Lords Rake, the weather was kind to you, as it did not start raining halfway up. Drone footage is good, as it gives a perspective of the full area, seeing things you would miss otherwise. But not worth using it if the weather is not playing nice.

Great walk and video pal... Black Crag seems a great guy, often watch his stuff. I don't get why people would go out their way to dislike some on YT, I've had a few videos where I've received a dislike. I'm like you, I'd just scroll past or go to a different video. With drones, as long as you're respectful to others on the mountains and not annoying others, I don't see the problem. I've got a drone and will always be mindful if others are around trying to appreciate the views.

Nice one mate, looks like you did the West wall traverse there, let alone Lords Rake! Yet to do Scafell but think I’ll do it from Eskdale via Cam Spout and Foxes gully. Black Crag is the goat by the way!

Cheers Dave. Think I preferred Scafell to Scafell Pike, was a lot quieter and arguably better views. Loved doing Lords Rake up too. i have done all the high welsh mountains yrs ago when i was in my 30s but im into winter wild camps now and i would luv to camp up there but i would not be able to get up there with my gear i take lol im 56 now so i would probably take the easy way up but great video i enjoyed that bro
