SCAFELL PIKE - The Highest mountain in England - HIKING - From Wasdale Head in the Lake District

Scafell Pike has been visited several times by Fat Boys team members, however it was the turn of Ray Winsley to discover if he had the legs to get to the top. We have been up from Great Moss and from Seathwaite, this video shows the climb from Wasdale Head (Wast Water). Find out if Ray lived to boast of his conquest. Great video, we did this hike a couple of weeks ago. We were so proud of our girls getting up there. It’s certainly one that will live long in the memory

Thanks Ofarim, bet you can't wait to be back in the Lake District. Our 2014 adventures are planned with three visits mapped out and if all goes well we should get around 21 walks in. In April/May we hope to cover 50 fells and 95 miles.

Hi Graham, Ive just been watching this one and the Tan Hill video of yours. Both done some years ago now. It's really good to see how your video collaboration has come on so much. Maybe using Premier Elements has helped.? Although theres so much to learn. You have learnt a lot in a small space of time. Any thoughts on moving to the Lakes yet ? David

David yes I look back on previous videos and think what could have been. This Scafell in particular. So much footage kept out to spare blushes and I should have done Narrative. But as you say still much more to learn especially with the use of new equipment. I would live to buy the full Adobe package but frankly the somewhat sedated nature of the material does not lend itself to dramatic titles and razmataz. Sadly. If I eventually get to do some of the scrambles and climbs I want to do then maybe I will spice them up with some dramatic footage and effects... or not 😁 As for moving... Sadly I will never persuade Mandy to leave her family here in Southend-on-Sea

No your videos look fine to me with the Elements package. My brain has already exploded haha, with the amount of controls available in Premier Elements... But thats my thoughts. I hope your trip in March goes well and everyone has a great time. Maybe a video will appear of the day. Sorry to hear you may not live there but not everything works out... Maybe it's for the best It's amazing to think what you have covered even by not living there though.. David.

David Keel while I remember don't upgrade to version 2018. It has many glitches and the layout is not conducive to easy editing. They try to add one extra ability and mess with the existing components to defend charging another £80 to upgrade and this time it is terrible. Pain for no gain
