Eduard 1/48 Su-27UB Limited Edition Scale Model Review

An inbox review of another of Eduard's Limited Edition runs. This time the SU-27UB (Academy kit) gets the Eduard overhaul with all the extra goodies in the box...

Hi Paul, Great review! I've just got hold of the Academy version for aus $41 and it doesn't seem too bad. I agree about the softening of the details and the injector pin marks. A bit of a shame. The decal sheet with the Academy kit is quite sparse also with only a fraction of the Eduard kit and illegible small fonts. Only a third of the price of the Eduard kit so not too bad. I've not made a model in 20 years so I'll have a crack at something smaller first before attempting this kit, even though the SU-27 is one of my favourite aircraft. When will you be attempting yours? Great review of what appears to be a good 'little' kit.. :) A bit too big for me, and out of budget.. but I will try to get my hand on a 1/72 Sukhoi at some point.. :)

You made a mistake, for the vertical stabilizers you said that they were horizontal and vice versa.... Good video btw! :D
