I was looking at the tanks on the autoart version the tanks look similar scale it's just that the spare tyre fills the upper gap and a Jerry can etc fill the sides so the tanks on this actually aren't too bad

Watching the movie, to me the tanks look bigger

@@MartintheTinman just looking at a picture of the original car sitting in a yard going to waste , the tanks are close to the height of the window line but don't take up the entire boot length theres about a 1ft gap that was used to store the spare tyre etc but the tyre should be in that gap on angle sitting over the edge of tanks filling the gap not sitting on the back.seat like this model , and the sides of the tanks had the Jerry cans so the model might be a little out

These interceptors look good enough to be display or diorama pieces if it's possible to take off the slot part as a separate piece so the car can roll/touch flat services on all 4 wheels...scalextric cars move too quick to admire their beautie and realistic driving...but that's just me. 🤷‍♂️

The slot guide is held in with a Philips head screw and then you can remove the wiring, lights and motor without any tools

@@MartintheTinman Ohh nice!...that sounds awesome if it's really as easy as that...I'll definitely keep that in mind for if I deside to grab them one day.👍...saw a couple of video's with realistic tracks/professional layouts...and I have to admit scalextric do look far better on those than the standard home tracks. 😎
