Hello from Latvia! I like photography, cinematography and artsy stuff in general, but never thought to be good enough in that to actually go all in with that. Instead I work as a reasercher in Technical University. But your channel and some reading of books like "think and grow rich"... I can't be the weekend warrior no more! Entrepreneurship is something I been craving for 10 years now, the biggest obstacle for me has been finding the purpose/the Passion... Cause thats what everybody says "focus on Passion and you will succeed", in IKIGAI for example! But this has putted some real pressure on finding the Passion, what if It get it wrong... It's so Bad that I can not even tell what I really Love to do and I'm passionate about... And this constant 9 to 5 makes it even harder... Looking forward for some Deep soulsearching whiteboard sessions. And thank you for what you do, your videos has helped to switch the way I think, it's kinda good, but it also is messing UP my 9 to 5 job, as it gets increasingly hard to to back there.

The concept around subsidizing and “buying the project” is really eye opening! I’ve never thought of that when I work on some projects that I know I’m losing money on but I do them for the review, or testimonial, or the specific skill and type of project I can include now in my portfolio. Looking at is as not a loss but a business expense almost you are buying the use to trade up to better. Awesome!

The Freelance Profile part is literally what i was doing during covid trying to create a database in Notion, even the 1-3 grade rule is what I apply, but i did it to save time evaluating work. I spend so much time deciding on what to do with 5-10s skills that a lot of jackofalltrades designers have and I found an answer with your advice on to evaluate only the best out of all skills, such an elegant approach. Anyway such an inspiring coincidence and even then I got insight on how to think about this and what questions to ask building this. The database is going to get so much lighter. Thanks fam!
