I do think Joel taught her a bit, mainly for the revolvers reload animations on the base game, she holds it how you’re supposed to fingers around the cylinder with your left hand and loading it with your left, actually Jonathan Ferguson pointed this out and said it’s a very nice detail but “unless someone taught her, it doesn’t make since for her to do this”

im pretty sure ellie knows a fair bit about gun safety seeing how joel just wouldn't even let her use a pistol earlier on and was SUPER worried about letting her shoot a rifle completely untrained. joel, a man who had a weapon in his home before the outbreak, has definitely taught ellie a thing or two about using a gun. revolver speed loaders are actually pretty dumb to put and lock bullets into.

I like it but dislike some of the more professional animations that youd see in call of duty Ellies not that trained and efficient imo her abilities come from tactics more so than weapons handling

@nathanchetwin4309 shes been using guns properly ror only about 6 years anyway And her shotgun double load is definitely not something the average person would know or even try considering if you mess it up itll only slow you down Ishes not out unloading mags and swapping mags all the time the idea is ammo is scarce they cant use that much so reload techniques like that feel pretty out of place when usually your not using more than 2 shells at a time She treats the smg with a level of familiarity that makes little sense since its the first time shes ever used such a gun like the way she loads it or hold the mag with her off hand just like youd see in cod lkme again shes never even used this weapon until one random day in santa Barbara joel was at least an arms dealer from texas who owned a revolver since pre outbreak be i would get And her switchblade having flourishes in combat makes not much sense shes a survivor not a ninja having fun with little knife she doesn end combos with pointless flourishes that leave her vulnerable These animations are all great but some just dont fit ellie well The only knife flipping one i can get behind is the inspection animation with rileys photo ellie actually has used this weapon all her life and know its ergonmics well plus its an extremely simple mechanism shes been around her whol life as well So overl great animation quality just seems like ellie not your average person who can use guns reasonably well when shown like this She was never a death machine of deadly accurate shooting or anything like that so to see her so proficient with weapons at that young of an age with 6 years of experience is not as believable "I sorta shot a rifle before" "At rats with bb's" I like most of the animations it just a select few break away from ellies character a little imo

I love how imperfect the movements are. The constant fiddling and how there’s so much small adjustments of the fingers while resituating her grip, we can clearly tell Ellie’s not perfectly proficient but it makes it so much more amusing to look at. And to top it off with the different reload variations, fuck, you’re crazy talented. Studios are about to flood your inbox soon.

Just need a bit of correction. 0:40 you'll get the double chambering failure if it's irl. The operator didn't stored the last cartridge properly into the gun, making the loose cartridge move along with the bolt when you push it, also with the second stored cartridge.

thank you, but honestly I really like Delta Force's animations. it's not really about the budget of a project, but the direction of the animation and the skill of the animator. great animators under bad direction can make less-good animations, and intermediate animators under great direction can make memorable animations. I think the overall direction of Delta Force is great, and it fits that game well.

I get this is not a modification but i beg of you to sell these animations to devs because these would be some of the nicest animations on the market easily better than the cod ones or any tacticool ones. The style and the knowledge of each firearm is perfect and i would love to see any game with these animations in them. Please don't let these just sit and die in a folder for the rest of eternity after making a youtube video

@ you did an Iraqi reload and pulled the right side of the charging handle when you could have simply pressed the bolt release or just pulled the charging handle on the left side. MWIII did the same thing with the MCX Spear

@@YungBeezer it's actually not an Iraqi reload because the bolt wasn't open prior to the magazine being inserted. the purpose of the Iraqi reloads on AK models is because with some mismatched magazines, it's difficult or impossible to operate the bolt while the non-standard magazine was inserted. that's not true on the MPX and isn't featured in the animation. she simply holds onto the magazine and charges it with her right hand. this was done for the sake of keeping reload choreography fresh and interesting more than anything.
