I am from India and I love your videos. Those abusive words were spot on !! Great job. Even we Indians are fed up with these scammers and police is doing nothing. I myself receive 2-3 different type of scam calls a week on my phone. It can be a Fedex scam, online shopping scam, electricity bill scam etc. Also, as an Indian I apologise for all the difficulties people had to face globally. 😊

Thank You Sagar for acknowledging the problem. The worst part of it to me is the police. On the local levels they're paid off. On the higher levels of government it's as if the Indian government is telling the people "Go ahead and rip off elderly Anglos and mentally deficient people from the UK and America and consider it a legitimate way of making money." Pierogi's communicated with Indian cyber authorities and sent them detailed information connected to numerous scam call centers, and they've totally blown him off. Really sad that your people and your country are targeted as hated people, due to your government and these scammers. Making it worse some of the scammers have told us what they think of us and our elderly, as if we did something to them? Scammers will always be there however. The Indian government is the problem, although our government clearly could give a hoot also. The lowest level of their current Ai technology could shut down these scams in the blink of an eye. Closest comparison I could think of is the Mexican government involved with allowing drugs into the US, but in that case the American people actually want the drugs versus our people not wanting to be scammed, and there's ample evidence of our own government being involved in trafficking also. Like you said it's even worse as scambaiters have had Indian friends call the scammers, as well as several scambaiters being Indian, and they're right and ready to take their money too.

Scammers of this nature SERIOUSLY irritate me. They run their terrible scams even though they're so incredibly obvious to someone with even a moderate IT knowledge and understanding, but there are people that STILL fall for their crap! That just really gets under my skin!

Those websites that scammers use to connect computers should not be allowed to connect to customers this way, without them even being aware. You should at least get a notification, and even better, give permission every time they connect. It should be a law! 😡 Also, I hear many creators complaining about youtube's algorithms, they suck! 😡 Your videos and disposition is fantastic! Your work is just so important. At 70, we only THINK we will recognize a scam. Medicare wants to know the ID # on your card? Gee whiz - they have my name/DOB when they phoned me .... Note that the laws of the USA do not apply to India. And software is a business tool without morals.

No. There are many legitimate, lawful reasons for someone to require remote access to a computer in an unmanned location. We don't need to pass a new law that would hinder legitimate activity, we need to actively go after the criminals, and educate people about these scams.

I'd never go to India as I'd be so afraid I'd get attacked by the bus conductor or doctor in hospital etc and the scammers everywhere!! They keep calling on my landline, telling me there's something wrong with my apple computer and they kept calling till I told them that the Buddha can hear this and Karma will get them! They have stopped calling me completely! They're cowards, after all. Karma is a beautiful thing.
