Someone in the gas and oil offshore industry (for real), told me that everything on the rig is insured at 500%. This means that if the derrick should break, the INSURANCE pays for repairs, not a single person. Insurance also pays for all medical evacuations and injured workers. These are huge multinational corporations. Love these narrations!! Thanks for all you do.

A guy in the oil business contacted me one time He was sitting on a beach , it looked like Santa Monica. It’s not to hard not to notice our beaches . He said he was somewhere else. I think he was a scammer. His first name was Jan , can’t remember the last name . My phone was new to me at the time and I didn’t know what to do . So my friend helped me delete him. I notice some of the people on this app mention guys in the oil bussiness. Maybe this is the same person. If so he t really gets around.

The best way to get back at the Nigerian scammer is to tell the scammer that you are going to have a curse put on him and have an evil spirit called up from hell and it will haunt him for the rest of his life. Tell him he will live a tortured life being followed by the devil spirit and finally go mad. Nigerians are very superstitious and terrified of anything from hell or spirits. Even if he says he isn't bothered, believe me he will be.

It never ceases to amaze me how clueless these victims are about basic operations of the military, business, international travel, etc. I’m a pretty isolated, marginal person who often doesn’t “get” social norms or appropriate behavior. But even I know that, for instance, the military never changes for transporting its personnel. I’m not shaming the people who bravely share their experiences on this channel. I’m just wondering how some of these folks, who are probably more functional than I am, could have missed out on such square-one knowledge about how things work.

Victims who share their story needs to have the courage to do this to help other people. As a victim it is offensive to hear people call victims gullible rather than manipulated, stupid rather than trustworthy, and deserve to be in jail rather than unaware of the levels of money mule or wire fraud. Victims go through a series of emotions at the same time and do not need to hear what they already feel like. Spread awareness and support, not negativity.

@@eunicegachuru7023 it's hard because you will recollect the whole 3 years and say to yourself well those were all red flags what went wrong... one day at a time when I found out that I was scammed I contacted Will and wanted to get educated quick but what helped me was detachment of who he really is a scammer. It helps to talk to people who have gone through it. You do not need to share that part of your life if you do not want to to avoid shameful comments in addition to the ones we have to deal with to heal and function. Unfortunately, some comments I saw was uncalled for. In the end you won because you got away. I sometimes fall into the trap of thinking about the years being scammed but focus on how strong you have become. Hang in there you are doing good

I shouldn't be surprised but it does disgust me how abusive these scammers can get. It is a shame that the victims suffer such mental anguish. Shame isn't a valid reason not to talk about a situation, that's part of the abuse and abuse stops the moment you open your mouth and talk to someone. If in doubt stamp it out! And by that I mean block, talk, research, keep talking and claim control.

Scammers are malignant narcissists and narcissists all follow the same playbook: 1. Love-bomb the target. 2. Be super interested in the target to learn what they want in a man/woman. 3. Become the target’s soulmate. 4. Divulge some tragedy or sob story to gain sympathy. 5. Pressure the target to get what they want (money/sex/relationship). 5. Discard and destroy.... They all behave the same way. The only difference is that scammers must work quicker than a typical narcissist, so they usually skip steps 2-3. They just study the culture and become what they think all women from that culture want.

As hard as it may seem it is easy to fall for the 24/7 lies as they are grooming and manipulating victims nonstop to the point that you can't sleep because of all the nonstop texts and lies. My scammer was a real identity and my rational thinking got impaired because I would fact check his story and it always played out. It is quick to say how can a person fall into that but I was not aware of the online scammers and he friend requested me from a mutual friend. He groomed me of lies for 2 years. No one would understand what is like until they experience it firsthand. Now knowing what I know helped me not believe in anyone and not be in social media. Unfortunately, there is a lack of international laws against these scammers and they know it and continue to do what they do. These scammers are predators they scope you out, agree on the same interests, and gets into your inner circle to establish trust. Awareness and education are key and hopefully it will help victims out.

There are lots of ways, if you are on Facebook our page Scamming Scammers Action has a notes section with tips and tricks. Most often the red flags are widow, one child, military deployed, wants money, itunes, bank info, to send you a package etc

If he asks for money for any reason....hes scamming. Be very careful, some of these scammers are very good.

PLEASE GOD MAKE THEM STOP. I cannot stand to hear about these good souls getting taken advantage of. Yes Karma will come for them. Wake up. I know it's crap being lonely but it's NOT YOUR FAULT. All victims soon to be survivors need to remember is this. YOU GAVE LOVE. You shared love, and gave it freely. The evil that came and exploited it is just that. Evil that took your love and abused it. You have survived this. So you have done NOTHING wrong.. NOT A THING. How can you feel guilty when all you did was share love? You are not stupid or anything negative you were BRAVE you tried to find and you gave love. The fact that someone took advantage of your good hearts is NOT YOUR FAULT. There is NOTHING wrong with being loving, you just have to be really really careful who you give your precious love too. Be kind to yourselves and forgive yourselves. Karma is coming for the evil ones. It goes both ways. Good will come into your life too. God bless and may the Universe bless you with love, prosperity and life worth living.
