We are a (sort of) normal couple living a rather unusual lifestyle in a Tiny House on Wheels (192 square feet) trying to fit more adventure, travel and exploration into our lives! We love to go camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking…and traveling with our 16 foot Scamp Trailer. We have an awesome Adventure dog named Redford that is up for anything. Word of caution about dogs and alligators in Florida: Keep your dogs on a short leash around all water and/or brushes areas. Gators can move up to 20 mph for short distances. They will grab pets. They like to sink themselves in shallow water and suddenly lunge out of the water. There have been lots of stories lately about owners having to jump in to save their pets. Not all of them have good endings. 😕

that is a very good point! at this park dogs are not allowed down by the water...but it is important for people too- I don't want to fight off an alligator either 🙈 thanks for the info 👍🙏

That was beautiful! I went camping one night with my dog last week. I know now that the time has come for a van. When in Bear country, which is everywhere around here, the tent just doesn't cut it anymore. Also the weather can be unpredictable. Also having to use bug spray kind of bothered me. I especially like motels now. No bugs, a bathroom, privacy, and a nice bed. We can explore in the day time and come back to a dry room. Hope your vacation continues to be just how you want it! I hear that...tent camping can be so great sometimes...but other times you need a little more! we had severe thunderstorms at the campground the past 2 nights & were so happy to be in the Scamp with a bit more protection. now the fun part...looking for your travel van 😍

What kind of campground doesn't have a dump station? Dump it there on the ground, I'll bet they'll put one in soon if everyone does it. Thanks for your video!

😂😂 Apparently, there was a dump station at one time...but it was not working anymore so we would have to drive back to O'Leno state park to use their dump station -but that is in the opposite direction of where we were headed next. If they had a camp sink it would have been much easier...but no camp sink either 🙈 at least that blue hole is worth all the challenges 😊
