Can I use it with out internet for diagnostics or does it require internet all the time ?

I think the T10 has more interesting capabilities than I realized. The boroscope is worth some $$, and the battery/alternator testing is interesting too. I'd be interested in hearing how much you think these are worth if they were separate tools. The 1 year of TrueFix is $299 alone, right? (my point being T8@ $900+$150 boroscope+$100 battery tester+$300 True$Fix+$30 case+$100 BlueTooth+(insert others here) = $XXXX valued price of a T10 vs. its list price of $1700. I'm an active DIYer who wants more than the Zurich/Innova offers and is overwhelmed by the Autel MX900 I bought. It seems like any of these would be vastly easier to use. I lean toward the T8 if I can get a coupon, but with the six family cars I support having the range of features offered by the T10 would be nice. For example ,the family Mazda 3 in the family seems to have a failing/failed alternator, but I'd love to be able to get a diagnosis before throwing a $500 part at it. It sounds like the T10 could make that diagnosis, but not sure the T8 can...

Can the t7 program car keys as I am a locksmith

I’m afraid you will need something that is designed specifically for key programming. Thanks for watching and subscribing! 👍👊

I have a 1996-1997 F250 7.3 will the T7 work on this truck? Great video.
@FreshVintageGarage3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes it should work for the F-250 for OBD2 code reading and whatever diagnostics Ford built into that model year (The older the vehicle typically the less diagnostics that are capable)

I have a 2015 ford f150. It is a keyless push start. I dont like it when the truck is running and you get out with the key and close the door, the horn will sound. Are anybof these tools able to disable it?
@FreshVintageGarage2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! None of these scan tools have this ability unfortunately.

Thinking about t10. But I am mostly diy and doing some side jobs. Have a launch pro right now but due for subscription update and may be worth switching to something with better support. Already purchased truefix whish is nice still missing some vehicles.

Ive got a T10, had it for about a month and ive only managed to use it twice. Im a DIY'er, the dealership wanted to bend me over for $250 to reprogram my keyfob. Im now offering free key programming with a suggested donation to cancer research :). T10 is good and its more than id ever need as a DIYer

Great video, I’m leaning towards the T10. Just a note you switched from saying TrueFix to Identifix which may confuse some. I knew what you meant but some might think it comes with Identifix. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for watching and subscribing we really appreciate it! You are 100% right - Harbor Freight is at their limit of products ending with fix 😂

I’ve been watching a lot of your video is recently. I want to pull the trigger on the t8 but man I’m leaning more on an autel within the same price range.
@FreshVintageGarage3 ай бұрын
We understand what you are saying here! Autel does have compelling scan tools for sure. Have you seen our OTOFIX D1 Lite scan tool video? If not be sure to check it out, as Autel owns/operates the OTOFIX name and builds these 👍

I’ll take a look sir at it thx.

The otofix is very lacking such as slow hardware. AUTEL is better for my work which is mainly Asian and GM in USA

I'll still have to wait for them to cover the HD truck market with one of them.
@FreshVintageGarage3 ай бұрын
It's definitely a great idea, but at this time Harbor Freight does not have plans of making a heavy duty truck scan tool.
@404nouserinformationfound3 ай бұрын
They have a basic one for HD truck. Just not a good one.
@SmashedGlassАй бұрын
A big negative I see for Truefix is the fact that no Toyota products are covered in it. Pretty much a deal breaker to me (for TF, not the scan tool itself).
@FreshVintageGarageАй бұрын
Thank you for watching and Subscribing we really appreciate it! We're definitely a little perplexed on that as well, and our assumption is Toyota is the one that is being difficult not Harbor Freight 👍
@SS-U233 ай бұрын
They should add more reset features, IMMO functions and online programming. I would keep thinking of unlocking gateway modules for free via a scantool. By the way, I would love to have TrueFix 2- year free software subscription, not only one year. Thank you

Great to hear! We have found the ICON T10 to be pretty much half a diagnostic shop in a box/case, and is well worth the money that Harbor Freight is asking for this.
