The EDS is cheap chinese replica of scangauge. The products are very different and for some reasons some people try to compare these products but do not include the full comparison (car specific gauges, trip computers, product origin and warranty).

They don't work on a TB48 Patrol, Jaycar ones be better than EDS for TB48, you can call me Pop.....Oh and check to make sure your vehicle is compatible with this because 4WD supacentre didn't ask me when I bought this.

Great run down. I know it’s only part of the picture but what load value should the injectors be for a 1kd at operating temperature?

Around 10 new or 16 on their way out i think, but happy to be corrected. Important to be at operating temp.

Hay mate, with this eds or any scan gauge work on a 120 prado that has a 1kz-te motor. I bought the Eds and didn’t work. Could u tell me why or point me to the right direction plz?

Thanks, this is what I was searching for. Looks like it is only odb2 and does not have the auto trans temperature. The scan-tool has the m-odb and can read the auto trans temp for 5 speed autos but not the 4 speed autos?

Most 4 speed automatic transmissions are older and dont even have a sensor for their temperature.
