This is a good book for understanding system design and testing methods.

A pretty bad review ... all you are doing is reading the subtitles and explaining the obvious meaning of what the section is covering, the only problem is that those section-headings are already public available ... If you are doing a book review then READ the book and comment on the information it provides you with and the value of the book as a repair technicians go-to book.. and if it is worth the money... Lastly the rant about eBooks vs real books is not really that important in a book review... I didn't give this video a thumbs down but you need to up your game i'm sure you can do better...

Do the pages have any type of protective lining in them or are they just unprotected paper?

excellent book i must say myself. i just tested my EGR today using this book and vids. I identified a positive side switched egr and manually energized it to rule it out of my diagnosis....all in literally 10 minutes. Compared to the OEM flow chart that would've taken hours. The book combined with Paul's premium youtube channel is well worth the money.

one question though. How did you get the binder version? I received the spiral bound-which is awesome and travel ready. Were you a Rosedale Technical College student?

+Isshman Garcia I bought it off aeswave. I was not a student their.

+Gaston Mechanic i like the spiral bound but i would've preferred the binder version to keep in a shop environment and it'll be safer. same book though. EXCELLENT info included...especially when wirking eith the scannerdanner premium channel...the free channel as well.

Just purchased this book. should have it in a few days. I agree with Paul Danner in his assessment that the engineer written flow charts are bulky and time consuming. I often bypass steps in the flow charts that I deem irrelevant.

I realize this video is 7+ years old but I'm just going to say... you gave an OVERVIEW and not a REVIEW. An OVERVIEW is about what is included or covered. A REVIEW would be details about how well it is written, how comprehensive, accuracy, etc. Regardless, it gives us an idea what to expect... mostly.

How necessary is it to have an actual scanner to make use of this book?

This book teaches you the basic electrical principals needed to repair today’s cars and if you don’t invest in the correct tools to do the testing then you are wasting your time. Just sent it to a good technician. However if you want to learn and do your own repairs then invest in your future do the job right This book will teach you across the board testing principles to cover all cars not just the ones he shows you This testing is not vehicle specific It’s the best form of mechanical electrical technology

too much trying to teach out the book - not enough on the physical quality of the book. I did see it was pretty thick for a training guide (made by one guy). That and a shot of the table of contents is more than enough to see I'd get my money's worth.
