Thank you for the upload! This was the FIRST non-BS video I've found regarding seeing through clothes with a night vision enabled camera. Has anyone thought of using an IR *spotlight* in conjunction with one of these cameras?? Or, is it possible to convert a 500,000candlepower+ spotlight into an IR spotlight using some type of lens or filter??

Thanks, I have a video on where I use what is called a ghost light from a company. It's the brightest IR light I have found. Can light a field up at night. Never tried it during light with the filter though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKaWlIJoYrh1rZI

This is the technique I found very handy to resolve a problem as I am diabetic. The problem was that when injecting insulin into my stomach I would sometimes hit a small bunch of surface Capillaries, which then would bleed and cause bruising and be quite painful. With the IR camera I can see through the first layers of my skin and see the capillaries beneath it in order to not hit them. I can also see some areas where there may actually be more nerves because there are more Capillaries together. So this is a very practical use for this..
@SamuelCalifornia8 жыл бұрын
If that is true then people should be told about that.
@85Studios8 жыл бұрын
SamuelCalifornia Well the problem with it is that it is just easier to do multiple sticks until you find a place that doesn't hurt so much because you don't have enough hands to pinch the skin, hold the needle and hold the camera at the same time and if you are like me Injecting insulin is very private. I won't let anyone be near me when I am injecting.

@85Studios8 жыл бұрын
Perry Haen I think you missed my point. you can see just a little below the surface of the skin with these cameras, so you can see the shallow veins and capillaries.(mostly capillaries) and so you won't hit them and leave a huge bruise. It is very helpful.

Apparently some or the other University is South Africa developed a device with which you can see right through a wall. I'm telling you!!! They even built a wall that's 3 foot thick and they used this device and they could see perfectly through that wall. From what I heard they have named this new device a "WINDOW".

This shows that there is light passing through things being reflected back to us without us detecting it. Here's a neat little trick to capture that reflection we can't detect with our own eyes. So there's away around anything if we put our minds to it. LOL I like things like this. I appreciate this vid, good job.

I admit that I clicked on the video because I thought the girl was cute... She is, but I liked the video. I've known that this was possible since maybe the late 90's (maybe) when I think it was a Sony camcorder actually made it into mainstream news. I thought the creepy music was a nice touch and the sunglasses disappearing was something I've never seen before.

@sherinforw138710 жыл бұрын
Can you explain what "night modes" has the panasonic 850? This is strange because "x-ray vision" normally can't be obtained from commercial cams, because they have exposure locked to max value during the "night mode"... ( With Sony cameras, for example, some hardware modifications are needed... ) May be the W859 let you control the exposure?
@normski2629 жыл бұрын
theres lots of poelpe who use Sony camcorders with nightshot, who use them during the day, without any problems at all, just don't point them at the SUN. and always put the IR filter on first before turning it all on..
@sherinforw13879 жыл бұрын
Norm Vigas Yes but, as I know, this is the first camera under 500$ with IR enabled since 1990. I got it and is a good cam for the price. IR mode, anyway, doesnt have any regulation. Can be used under the sunlight only is you place a filter. Otherwise image is completely white.

Did you even watch the video? OP literally showed how it was washed out without the IR filter.

Yes, it is annoying. Totally unnecessary. I noticed background audio even at the beginning when he was talking. Totally unnecessary and annoying. Well actually there is nothing creepy or dramatic or unusual about the video so the audio is used to try to make it seem creepy.

Actually intelligent people are capable of disconnecting the audio and video so the creepy audio just seems annoying. Also, it does not require much intelligence to call someone a dumb fuck, it is done when a person has noting relevant to say.
