An excellent description of the various types of cancer screening imaging - the best I've seen. Was really helpful to me prior to my assessment, as someone who likes to understand what's happening.

I had Lymphoma stage4 in my bobe marrow. I did ny 6th month follow up pet CT last month. I started doing some workouts like lunges, squats, jumping jacks....for a week. Iam starting to have pain in my hip. What could be the reason for the pain?

We are sorry to hear of your lymphoma diagnosis and that after a recent follow up CT scan, you are currently experiencing hip pain. Nasrin, we are not medically trained so unfortunately are unable to comment on your medical situation. Our suggestion would be that if you are experiencing symptoms which are concerning you, you have a conversation with your doctor. We send you our best wishes.

If you've already had follicular lymphoma had your Nick and you receive radiation, and then it appears in your groin, what stage of follicular lymphoma is that? I received radiation for my neck and two years later it appeared in my groin and now I receive chemotherapy every 2 months so could you tell me what stage that's is?

Hello Lynda, we're sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with follicular lymphoma, and have needed to go through treatment, we imagine this may be a difficult time. Generally speaking, if lymphoma is found in one place in the body, either above or below the diaphragm, it may potentially be staged as 1, however, it would be difficult for us to say this is the stage of your lymphoma, and your medical team would be the best people to confirm this based on the test results etc that they have. We would suggest speaking to your team who should be able to answer your questions about staging. If you feel it may be helpful, you can read more about staging here lymphoma-action.org.uk/about-lymphoma-tests-diagnosis-and-staging/stages-lymphoma We send our best wishes to you.
