Thanks for your reports. I fractured my wrist two and a half months ago and it’s good to know of your experiences as you recover.

Mate glad it's going well, the positivity is awesome! I broke my scaphoid (waist) 2 months ago now and had surgery done. So hard to tell timelines on recovery as everyone is so different. Some say 3 months, some say 1 year to get it back to normal.

Im currently 17 day post surgery and just got my real cast on. Im set for 1 month in cast then PT. I tried to see range of motion when they took my splint off and barely any movement without sharp pain 😆. You mentioned "arthritis" in another video. Hows that? My doctor said the same thing.

did you heal brother?
@Vincent_Preston Жыл бұрын
@@borandalgc3194 the bone isnt totally healed but its is getting better. Currently have almost full range of motion bending wrist forward and maybe 10% backwards 😆. My PT guy is being really cautious bc this injury is very complex. But now about 1.5 months of PT hes starting to push it a little harder.

@@Vincent_Preston do you feel pain when moving your wrist or tenderness in scaphoid area? ty for sharing your experience
@Vincent_Preston Жыл бұрын
@@borandalgc3194 yes, currently im supposed to be bending back without applying external pressure and it does get sore. A couple days ago I was allowed to use a bench press type machine with around 30-40lbs and it is painful, especially in the snuff of my hand. Its to be expected though, probably gonna take a year imo for the pain to 100% subside but overall its manageable tbh. I worked with it broken for 5 months before going to the doctor and im a carpenter 😆. Im wanting to get back to work bc its getting boring asf even if im getting worker comp.
