I was in amys position when I was 17. couldn’t have imagined dealing with it any younger, wow she’s so strong. i stayed with a host family for only 1 night and then went to a hostel for 4 months in that time i turned 18 and began bidding on properties. now im 19 in a few months and have my own place. worst and best thing that ever happened to me. absolutely broke me and ruined my mental health but i have healed over time and alongside it has my relationship with my mum. i don’t know where i would be right now and i don’t want to know if it hadn’t happened. My relationship with my mum was so toxic one of us would’ve ended up dead. It was terrible. Being kicked out I thought it was the worst thing that could’ve ever happened but it really was a bless in disguise and I know that I am on the right path with my mental, physical and emotional health and my relationship with my mom❤️ Amy if you’re reading this I know how alone, depressed and empty you may feel but trust me when I say everything will work out in the end. I was born in a family of 7 children I am exactly the middle one so three younger and three older siblings, my dad when I was young had a car accident he fell asleep behind the wheel and hit the tree... Doctors have said to my mother that he is lucky to survive but they need to amputate his leg and one arm... My mom is my superhero she fought as much she could for the doctors to try to save my dad's arm and leg... Doctors recovered around 1000 pieces (including tiny ones) of metal from my dad's arms and legs... He spent years in bed recovering, one doctor was brave enough to take the challenge and eventually they save my dad's arm and leg... my mom had to take care of all of us including my dad... we sometimes had nothing to eat because the government did not provide enough help, before my dad's accident we were prosperous family... My mom never left us nor my dad, we were blessed to have such a strong, resilient mom... even though we were starving sometimes we were one family and I saw my mom crying often because she could not put anything on our plates, but usually our neighbours were bringing food for us as they knew our situation... The only reason my mom did not give up on us was because of their Faith, I know it may sound weird but Faith was her strength to carry on! I don't know how it feels to be rejected by own mother or father or both, but I know the hardship and sacrifice that may relate to this... I hope this girl is safe and happy and I hope she will go through life happy and find peace. I just wrote this comment when I only watched 1:41 of it... so I don't know the whole story yet but I just wanted to share my story... Whoever is struggling I think I know your pain, and I know it is hard, but hold on, and hope for the better days!

Not 1 single person on this planet is good or doesn't sin or disobey God. So be easy on her because God died on the cross to forgive us of our sins so that we wouldn't have to go burn in hell for eternity because we're so evil and wicked. I really hope she gets somewhere to stay! But how is it that in all these clips about homeless young people, there’s nothing about these people getting jobs.. it’s all about handing out housing and welfare. Of course this girl should be at school and possibly only work weekends.. but when she’s 18 they will help her find a home but no job? How are kids supposed to learn how to take responsibility for themselves if it’s all just handed to them? Or is the job hunt happening and just not shown in the clip?
@Sarah-ft8jr6 жыл бұрын

Are you having a laugh? It's very rare in the UK for a 16 year old to be in employment as work placements require qualifications from college. Also the pay at 16 is half the minimum wage and the wages would never cover your rent.

Of course she should be in education and it should be her main focus.. Working weekends or evenings would help her for when she finishes education though.. The system in the U.K. is very broken. Teenager are encouraged to become estranged from their parents. This is extremely damaging with long term consequences. She left home voluntary and instead of looking into the situation, authorities are placing her in a temporary accommodation. We don’t hear the full story about what prompted her to leave home. We don’t know the other side of the story. In the U.K. 16 years old is allowed to leave home and either police or authorities won’t do anything about it if she doesn’t want to go back home.

@jazdavidx4 жыл бұрын
I used to live with this girl in a hostel. Lived with her for about a year. She is without a doubt a horrible, horrible person. Her mum never abandoned her it’s all lies!! Aimee has a serious problem with lying and stealing, her mum told us that she would steal from her nan, small things like her glasses etc. Aimee lied about being pregnant, said she had a miscarriage of twins, lied about having cancer, lied about being raped more than once. She “ran away” from home and went to stay with a woman who took her in because of the stories that aimee told her about her mum. The police got involved and this woman got into serious trouble for harbouring her, as far as I’m aware this woman got her children taken away from her for it. And the truth eventually came out. Aimee told this woman that she was raped and she was scared to go home. But that wasn’t the truth, the boy she accused wasn’t even in the country at the time and she later admitted that she made it up because he said he wouldn’t date her. She’s disgusting. Like I said I lived with her for a year. When I first met her I felt so sorry for her, I thought, she’s so young and so small and being in a hostel like we were in I thought I would look after her, as I was a few years older and much more capable of looking after myself. I fed her, let her stay in my flat, supplies tobacco and whatever it was she needed. There was a massive group of us that did the same. But all the while, she was stealing from all of us. We were all young kids who had barely anything, surviving off £200 a month. She uses the fact that she’s so young and seemingly innocent to entrap people into her web of lies. Every thing that happened and will happen to aimee is everything she deserves. And I hope that one day she will come to realise that she has done people seriously wrong, but she is a compulsive liar and I doubt she will ever change her ways.

E Nadine unfortunately, it is. I once considered her one of my closest friends and learned the hard way from it, as did many people who became friends with her after me, after saying I was horrible to talk about her the way I did. They learned their lesson too. It’s such a shame really, but some people are able to put on such a clever mask you’d never know until it’s too late. I can only hope that her poor family haven’t suffered too much after this series etc, as I feel nothing but pity for them. I actually spoke with her mum a few times, I actually messaged her having a go at her after aimee told me so many lies about her. She told me everything that happened and I’m so glad she did, it started unveiling the truth

I know exactly whatbu mean, ive met ppl like that before and it sucks balls cause once you unveil who they really are u go through a period of time in which maybe ppl dont believe u and question u as crazy. Be safe, and be careful who you trust.

I wonder how many homeless girls and women was taken advantage by flesh eating individuals. I mean theyre vulnerable right? They would exchange anything for food and clothing. May God protect this people.

Being a Man and homeless would be hard. I can't imagine a beautiful woman, or should I say a beautiful young girl. (sheeesh,) That would be so scary... Poor SWEET kids. The kids in the Philippines are thrown out into the mud when they're just babies. I went there for a vacation and it turned out to be more heartbreaking than my divorce to see what's really happening in this world. Sad stuff.😣😔😭

Blimey what an irresponsible parent letting your 16 year old be homeless and potentially ending up living in a hostel with god knows who - she should be living at home, having her dinner cooked and someone helping her with her homework. Very sad, poor girl. Hope she manages to get on in life and not spiral downwards

America should adapt these kinds of programs. I wonder how well they work out for the majority of kids going through this type of program. They seem like they're at least trying to face the homeless problems

It’s a shame because just because you give birth to a child doesn’t mean you will be a “mum” and the same for a man. So many horrible excuses for parents out there and it’s a shame for the children

@Leleche5 жыл бұрын
Really doesn't matter to be fair, if a child leaves at 16 you search high and low and do not let them live rough. the council would have been in touch with her family(mum) before moving forward to see if she can't go back, which her mother obviously said no to... I have been in this position before and it is not as cut and dry as the question you asked

@@Leleche do you believe it will? I really don’t want to say this but the system in this country is extremely broken

@Leleche 💯 If I left home at 16, my Mum would have gone to the end of the earth to find me, sort the situation out and bring me home. It breaks my heart that this sweet girl didn't have that.
