It's great visual design on the part of the devs. Everyone walks in, high fives Huggy so they KNOW that hand was empty a second ago... and then there's a key. Same with the sound design drawing you to the train in the lobby/gift shop, since the train is the key to Security.

The fact that you didn't see Huggy between when he disappeared and the chase must've made the chase even more abrupt than it normally is. The few others I've watched have all at least seen his arm after the getting the power-on sequence right before that dark hallway with the steam, which honestly is probably more unnerving but gives more set up for the chase.

Gab looks away and so completely misses it slithering away, but you can hear the slight shuffling audio cue under her voice. You'll have to look up a different video to actually see it, but that's the area you should be looking for

I've seen that chase played by many others but somehow this was the most tense one for me, because she just kept going and didn't get caught until the last second... The fact that you can get scared by huggy in the vent and still keep moving is impressive. When it comes to chase scenes of any kind, I tense up and cover my face to hide from it on instinct. I've watched the Huggy chase so many times now but it still gets me every time.

if you pay attention, you can actually see that Huggy is slightly swaying/moving at the beginning where everyone high-fives him. It took me a while to notice ( on my second playthrough) but then it was WAY worse because at first I though he just comes alive later, but no, he's alive the whole time he's just pretending to be frozen while you stroll around. And then I found out that if you zoom in on his eyes, you can actually see another set of eyeballs shimmer through his outer puppet eyes, and he's not just alive, he's WATCHING YOU. The eyes follow you around, behind his puppet eyes. And now I'm not sure I can ever play it again

This 43 minutes went by sooo fast! This game is so engaging. It doesn’t get you with a bunch of cheap jump scares which, in turn, draws out the suspense and lulls you at the same time so the big scare is a great payoff. Can’t wait for the next one! Also, Poppy being in the case at the end feels like a reference to the Annabelle doll that the Warrens found in their paranormal investigations and put in their museum.

Watching this again months later and I found out today that you happened to turn around at the exact moment (15:23) that you would have seen Huggy Wuggy's arm sticking out of the doorframe and then being pulled back into the corridor, and you were close enough to trigger the animation but when you turned back around it was gone lol.

Can I mention someone on KZbin who talked about the use of yellow in horror genres, her name is AbitFrank and she spoke about how the use of yellow is like a warning or danger for things to come. This game is so cool, I love the grab pack mechanic and the way huggy wuggs moves in the vents is so well animated probably one of the best chase scenes in video games ever. This game reminds me so much of BENDY and the Ink Machine with the chapters and the way the game is layer out though, do a couple tasks and there's a jumpscare, then there's a chase scene and you fall and you're somewhere else. Then the chapter ends.
