One of the great aspects of Scarlatti, in my opinion, is that one can always go back to the earlier sonatas even after hearing the later ones. For me, at least, it is one great, eternal ring. Grazie.

Dear Mr. Bartoli, as a fan of your talent I want to ask a favor from you if it is not too much of an imposition. You see, I don't speak or understand Italian except for the curses I have learned and the instructions in the music sheets. Can you translate your introduction comments in English? Only because I am learning this Sonata and aside from the notes I would love to know some insightful background notes on this lovely sonata. Please respond on YOUR time.
