As someone who was always “mistaken” for being older as a teenager, I look back now and can totally see how full of shit people are. Teenage girls look like teenage girls, Scarlett did and everyone I knew who was mistaken for being older did. It’s just a code word for “you’re a minor but I still want you so I have to say something that justifies that.”

We, as a society, have grown to associate the term “immature” with negative connotations. I remember being 10 years old and giggling with my cousins at a family event and an aunt told me I was being “immature”. I was 10 years old. That really affected me; as silly as it sounds. Hearing adults describe the other kids around me, mostly other female children, as “so mature for their age” and with me being told off frequently for acting “immature” really stuck with me. I so badly wanted to be “mature” and do “mature things” But there was nothing wrong with me being 10 and immature. I was a CHILD and for an adult to expect my behaviour to be any other way says more about them than it does about 10 year old me. I only realised that about 10 years ago, at the age of 20. Telling children they’re “mature” or “immature” will only ever do the opposite of what you think it will do.

I was one of those “mature for her age” children. Strangers and acquaintances commented that frequently enough that I thought it was a weird compliment. My “maturity” was due to parental neglect and abuse. I would have eaten dirt every day to have the chance to be a carefree kid. Screw what that aunt said to you, kids should be allowed to be kids. You had every right to act like a 10 year old at that age. It’s very irritating when I hear adults expecting children to grow up too fast. People only have one childhood and should get to enjoy it and adults should protect and cherish the innocence that comes with it. ❤ That aunt sounds like she was loads of fun with the family’s children. 🙄

I agree, a 10 year old should be focused on childish things because they're a child. It feels kinda like sexualizing children when folks make those types of comments. I was one of those children and nothing good came from being "more mature" in my experience. Hope everyone has a good day.

9/10 times the "mature" kids are called that for being easier to deal with. It's a common sign of trauma, children being "mature" by those standards. I was the "mature" kid because I was riddled with anxiety and tried my hardest to do everything right to prove I wasn't the bad kid I was treated as. I've never really thought about the flipside, but you are so right. Calling a child immature is absurd. Just as absurd as ignoring what "maturity" is often a sign of.

I think Hollywood is full of awful people that purposely get their hands into everything, and whenever you speak out against them, they blacklist you from everything and maybe that's why some of these actors still support them. With that being said, I think that not supporting Woody Allen shouldn't be controversial for these actors at this point, especially for someone like Scarlet, and with SO much evidence against him...

Had to pause really quick to say this. I'm just starting the video. I'm only about 3 minutes in, & everything you're saying so far about ScarJo, totally reminds me of Alicia Silverstone. She too, was treated at a young age as a sex symbol & type casted. From all of her Aerosmith videos shoots, to the movie The Crush, & then of course, Clueless, the movie that thrusted her into stardom. However, as way back as I can remember, she never really wanted to be known as a sex symbol, & was always uncomfortable when people would ask her questions about that when she was just a young teen. Directors & Producers kept wanting her to do certain roles, but she stopped accepting them, due to her being so young. If I'm not mistaken, I think I remember her saying she took a sort of break, to get out of the spotlight for a little bit. Anyways, I guess we never really thought about it, that much when we were kids. How damaging all of that can be to a child/teens whole being. There's one child actor now who's an adult, who I love. I loved her then & still to this day. Her name is Alyson Stoner. She's a professional actor, dancer, & singer. She was a Disney star. She also acted in All the Step Up & Cheaper By The Dozen movies, as well as danced in a few Missy Elliott videos. She came out with a video, on her KZbin channel, called the Toddler to Trainwreck Industrial Complex, which I highly HIGHLY recommend you watch if you haven't. It's phenomenal! She also wrote an OP-ED piece.

It's so gross to defend someone on allegations you have no way of knowing. Speaking of their character it's like 🤷 well he never molested me and i didn't see him do it, so i don't believe it. 🤦 It's one thing to say he's innocent until proven guilty and he hasn't been convicted, it's another to be like: i think that girl is lying bcuz Woody has always been nice to ME. Mia being angry doesnt make her daughter's story any less credible, Mia SHOULDA been angry: her common law husband left her for one of her daughters!

I am 5' tall and was always mistaken for younger. When I was 35, people still thought I was a teenage. I was seduced by a 27 year old when I was 15. He told me how "mentally" and "emotionally" mature I was. We were in relationship for 5 years. I never thought about it as bad until I was older. Then I realized I had missed my childhood and teenage and young adult years with my peers. When I was growing up, Woody Allen normalized this in movies like Manhatten, where he dates 17 year old Mariel Hemingway. I can't watch it now.

To be honest I’m still a scarlet fan because deep down she’s still an awesome person and I love watching her in act and she’s entitled to her own opinion and to be honest she might’ve been traumatized by some of the stuff he did but as she got older she might’ve forgiven him I’m not saying what he has been accused is ok but to scarlet it might just be her way of trying to move on and live her life peoples perspective of different situations effects them and for us as a fan base of scarlet we can either chose to keep supporting her AS A PERSON and not based on her actions or what she says or to just give her backlash for something that she personally feels fine with supporting. It’s not our decision to try and tell her how to run her life or who she should be around. Scarlet is her own person and that is the person who I have grown to love and support and who has taught at a young age to be myself and is my hero.

And there is no way to excuse Woody as anything as a groomer. 16:52 It is really rough when the younger generation of actresses excuse his behavior. You feel like they should be more aware and less loyal to a problematic person. Lively could be ignorant of previous comments that show Woody's feelings and fixations of young "attractive" kids. But in turn she is standing for that perversion aligning with Woody. But celebrities are what they are, they work in that toxic community, and should be realized as superficial to a degree.

Hollywood has embraced pedophila for decades and Woody Allen has been a creep around young girls for decades. In 1962, the movie Lolita, about a middle aged man's infatuation with a teenage girl , featured 14 year old Sue Lyon. In 1978, Brooke Shields played a young girl who lived in a brothel and ended up having sex and living with a client of the brothel. Brooke was 12. In 1979, when Mariel Hemingingway was 16, she played middle aged Woody Allen's girlfriend in his movie Manhatten. She later said that he had a crush on her at the time and he tried to lure her to go with him to Paris after the movie wrapped. Allen's a sick creep with a thing for young girls. No matter how he tries to twist it into something socially acceptable, Woody Allen seduced and married his stepdaughter. They went on to coveniently adopt two girls. I refuse to watch his movies. I believe Dylan totally.

Falsehood #6: "It is extremely bizarre that Woody adopted only two children, not Mia's other children." There is nothing 'bizarre' about that. In fact, it would be 'extremely bizarre' if Woody had adopted Mia's other children *as they already had a father* !! These children are called 'PREVIN' for a reason: their father, either biological or adopted, was André PREVIN. You have stated this yourself earlier in the video. I find it 'extremely bizarre' that you forgot this just a few minutes later. Woody adopted two children that he and Mia considered as Woody's children: Moses and Dylan. Satchel/Ronan was allegedly his biological child, so he needen't adopt him. These three children had no other father figure, and Woody had been involved - as a highly committed father - in their upbringing - which is the very reason why Mia in 1991 *very much* wanted him to adopt, and to recommend him as a great father (see below, falsehood #4).

Falsehood #4: "Woody Allen had a weird relationship with Mia's daughter Dylan'. Now read what *Mia* wrote about Woody's relationship with his daughter in December 1991, just a few weeks before she found out he was having a relationship with her 21 year old daughter Soon-Yi PREVIN: Mia: "'Mr. Allen is a loving, caring, attentive parent to Dylan, far more of a father than most natural fathers are or choose to be, and she can only benefit from having him as an adoptive father". "He has acted as Dylan's father almost since her birth and adoption by me". "He is present with us during nearly all of Dylan's waking hours". Even after Mia had publicly stated that Woody was out to molest Dylan, in August 1992, she still considered *marrying* Woody, according to her therapist, Dr Susan Coates. It means that Mia considered having Dylan live with the man Mia had just called a 'child molester'. Even after alleging him of having sexually abused Dylan, Mia still wanted to play in Woody's movies that had made her a star. Just imagine how 'honest' Mia's claims about him were, and still are. Now read what *Dylan's nannies* Monica Thompson and Kristi Groteke, have stated about her father, Woody Allen. Thompson (Dylan's nanny from birth): "Dylan always loved him dearly and misses him. Dylan still loves him dearly. Woody Allen was always the better parent, and all the things Mrs Farrow is saying about him are not true". Groteke: "I was down at Mia’s pond, giving Dylan and Satchel swimming lessons, when [Woody] pulled up in his limousine and came down to the beach to watch us. A pattern began to develop. After I was finished with the lessons, he would either sit the kids down at the kitchen table and tell them truly amazing stories, or he would take the kids’ toys out and play a game with them. He especially liked crafts games." "I gave her the lesson she had avoided earlier. After about twenty minutes of working together, I said to her, “Call Daddy and show him what you learned.” And she proudly showed Woody how she could float on her back and put her face in the water. “Oh, that’s so wonderful, Dylan,” he said in his singsong, nerdy voice. “Look at you. You look great out there.” He was supportive and sweet." (...) "By the time I picked Satchel up, he was bursting with enthusiasm about what movie they'd seen together in the screening room, or about the improbable seven layer cake they had baked. He would always carry under his arm a little shoebox filled with his handwork, whether it was a drawing, a clay model, or a dozen cookies. At home Mia would regard its contents with disdain and tell me to put it away." Now read what *Dylan's therapist* Dr Susan Coates, has testified about Woody Allen: "'I saw that Mr. Allen was devoted to the little children and that he really wanted to be a major part of their lives and wanted help with his parenting skills,' she said. 'He was enormously committed to being a parent.' (...) "It is extremely important that Dylan have contact with her father." Now read what *Mia's housekeeper* Mavis Smith, has stated in response to a question whether she had ever seen him doing anything of a sexual nature to Dylan. "Oh God, no, never!" "I am an honest person, I couldn't lie to you". And to a question whether she thought Mr. Allen was a good father, she answered: "I think so". Now read what *Mia's adopted son Moses, Dylan's older brother* wrote about their father: ""Of course Woody did not molest my sister." "Dylan loved him and looked forward to seeing him when he would visit. She never hid from him until our mother succeeded in creating the atmosphere of fear and hate towards him." In sum, your idea about that 'weird 'relationship' is only based on the Farrows' claim that they made *after* they had started to hate him for his relationship with Soon-Yi Previn. The claim has been totally refuted by witness testimony of those who observed Woody with his daughter Dylan.

11:19 - Because her statements have been absolutely contradictory throughout the decades, Mia Farrow first contacted her lawyer instead of the cops or a health professional. Mia through her lawyers also offered the "opportunity" to pay 7 million dollars for them to drop the allegations, which is extremely telling. Soon-Yi herself said in '92 that Mia "terrified" her and the kids, plus was violent towards Soon-Yi, according to her statement this is. There's also Moses Farrow's satements in defense of Woody Allen that indicate that Mia Farrow was abusive towards her children, like Soon-Yi has said before on various occasions. While yeah, I think that some of Woody's relationships are absolutely inappropriate and the fact that he and Soon-Yi were connected with Epstein is extremely suspect, let's also listen to Woody Allen's other children and other people who were around the family back then. While I agree that he's a groomer, a lot of other arguments against him have been disproved concerning the sexual assault allegations against him. I'm all for believing victims, I have friends who've been raped before, but this video but this is an issue you are extremely uninformed about or you are being purposefuly ignorant, but I'm more inclined to believe the former. Falsehood #2: After your expressing how 'horrific' are the allegations and the 'evidence' against Woody Allen, and how 'mind-blowing' you find it that people 'still' support him, you go on saying "Scarlett Johansson came across this when she was a child actress. She was a teenager". Scarlett's *first* movie with Woody Allen, Matchpoint, was released in US theaters in December 2005 when Scarlett was 21 years old. It was filmed just a few months short of her 20th birthday. Certainly not a 'child actress', and it is rather disingenuous to present her as a mere 'teenager'. When she first 'came across' the 'allegations' and the (non-existing) 'evidence', no one knows. And yes, that includes you, who makes the fact-free claim that she was a 'child actress' then.
EVERYONE needs to know what happened to Courtney Stodden.
