I have this theory that because Grian gave Scar a second chance at his task in the first episode, the Watchers made Scar have harder and more villainous tasks because they wanted drama and bloodshed, and were annoyed at Grian’s rebellion, of sorts.

If I had a nickel for every life series animatic I’ve seen featuring scar and utilising a song by The Crane Wives, i’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, and isn’t that odd it’s happened twice, given The Crane Wives make music that typically fits angsty minecraft animatics quite well

Lots of people are talking about how expressive you've made eyeless faces, but what gets me is the body language! In the beginning Scar's shoulders are high and confident, but after the string wraps around him they slump more and more until in the end he's resigned even as he gleefully unleashes Chaos Scar and his utter shock at his own victory! You are AMAZING!

OH??? MY? GOD!!!! THIS IS SO COOL! I love your artstyle, it's so silly goofy, they're just little guys! And all the little details, like the apostrophe in "Trader Scar's" being his ACTUAL scar on his nose! Just!!! Genius! ARYGH the parallels, and the strings showing how he was molded into the villain, paired with the song? Chefs kiss. Amazing. And the amount of emotion in their expressions? Hello? Even with the simplified face? Incredible! Usually most emotion is shown in the eyes, so seeing how much you're able to convey without them is a skill I wish I had. I could sit here for hours dissecting this and talking about my favorite parts, but I'm going to cut it off here so this isn't too long 😅 but this is definitely my favorite thing I've seen in a while omg

Ah yes. Ever since I saw that Care Wives released a song called Scars, I knew Life Series animators will get ideas rolling XDD This is so nice to watch. The designs and drawing may be on the simple side, but the animation is great! And most importantly, the emotion and feelings stuff is well delivered. The battle scenes are so fun to watch. Like the last one between Gem, Scar and Pearl; the motion in it is so good. Also the way you captured the Tango vs 'boogeymen' battle is also amazing; because he really did managed well and long and you nailed it.
