It goes without saying that Scary Godmother is an absolute Halloween classic! I can still remember watching it the first day it premiered on Cartoon Network! Hell I even agree with the people who say that the movies computer animation makes it a film ahead of it's time, And not only because it was made in the early 2000's. but also because they really don't make CG animated films like that anymore. And I still watch The movie every year during Spooky month!

Personally, Scary Godmother didn’t need or doesn’t need sequels. I loved the the original as well but feel like a one-off quirky adventure was enough. I barely remembered what 2 was even about. 1 is awesome.

I remember watching this Halloween special and it’s sequel _The Revenge of Jimmy_ when it used to air on Cartoon Network every Halloween and it’s one of the spookiest and by far the funniest animated Halloween specials. I actually was surprised that the _Scary Godmother_ TV specials were based on a series of children's books cause for a while I thought they just started out as just original Halloween Specials. Even it's worth noting that the main voice cast in the special which simply consists of Vancouver based voice actors (Tabitha St. Germain, Britt McKillip, Gary Chalk, Scott McNeil, Britt Irvin, etc.) have worked on so many different projects before and after the _Scary Godmother_ specials such as the Barbie films (which Rainmaker did work on and the Scary Godmother Halloween specials) and especially _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic._

First off, the name you're thinking of is Scott McNeil. He's known for playing many dub voices for anime including Duo from Gundam Wing, Dinobot from Beast Wars and of course Piccolo from the Dragon Ball franchise. Secondly, not only do I LOVE these movies but I much prefer Scary Godmother over the cliche fairy godparent. If you go by Butch Hartman's mythos, godparents only appear when a child is miserable. Whereas Scary appears whenever a child is overwhelmed with fear, which is much more doable than a child suffering under abuse
