It honestly totally blew my mind that the entire _Monster House_ film was done in Performance Motion Capture when I first watched this film, because when compared to the other ImageMovers MoCap films which range from an uncanny realistic look, this film is more cartoonish with the characters resembling these cartoonish caricature drawings from the Amusement Parks or Boardwalks.

Monster House is one of my all time favorite CG animated movies! Heck I make a tradition to watch this movie during Spooky month every year! And I must say, The part where Nebbercracker embraces Constance's spirit and she floats away is pretty heartbreaking. I mean it may have been hard for Nebbercracker to let Constance go, But at least she was free and finally able to go where she was supposed to go. And Nebbercracker could finally live the rest of his days, Knowing that Constance was no longer suffering.

Monster House is such a classic! Beautifully shot, a compelling story, really funny, and actually had some decent creepy moments. It went dark right away with Mr. Nebbercracker "dying" and then finding out the history of the house near the end. Such a fantastic film all around and perfect for Halloween time! It just screams my childhood, glad you guys are reacting to it! I'm sure ya's loved it! 🏚🎃

I actually saw that someone posted somewhere - and I have no idea if this is true or not - but apparently in the original script, Bones and the Police Officers were supposed to be dead because they were eaten but because it's supposedly a kid's movie, they made it so they lived. Again - I don't know if this is true or not, I've only seen someone else say this somewhere else. So glad you guys decided to watch this, it's such a classic.

This a great animated to put on Halloween. I love the Concept of this movie. An entire house getting taken over by the soul of the old man’s dead wife, and coming to life is a terrifying thing to think of. As a kid I wasn’t afraid of this movie.
