They can leave through jealousy. My late cat Totti, got annoyed about a friend staying and went AWOL for two weeks. Its odd because my cats are indoor cats and only go out to the roof of the breezway between the two parts of the building. There are closed, regulation fire doors in all the internal hallways and we put up posters. When he was eventually found, it was on the first floor of the other block and none of the windows facing onto the roof at that side were open or had access to the block as they were locked storage rooms. I was very lucky to have found him when I did, a workman noticed him and had seen the posters. He was very thin and dehydrated. My younger cat tried to sulk as they do but he was just so happy to be home and such a clever soul that he totally ignored her and she gave up within hours. I never saw him react like this before as he was normally really friendly and larger than life but something had upset him enough to walk out in protest.

I've come across a lot of overly friendly cats to whom I was a simple stranger, yet they all approached me without fear and allowed me to pet them. It is quite strange, but nice to know that a little cute creature decided to put their trust in you

The story of the white cat reminded me of my"imaginary friend" I had when I was young. I have always known that he wasn't just my imagination, he was real, and when we played in the back yard he would run across the top of the cyclone fence around the yard to tease me because I couldn't do that. As an adult, when I started to remember him, I thought he was a spirit, but now I am inclined to believe he was of the fairy realm. I can absolutely see another fairy appearing as a young man but having the shadow of a cat. If you try to approach the cat, just show the respect due to an intelligent and possibly powerful entity.

Posted 2 minutes ago, let's go! Fun fact, I usually keep some copper (burnt out tips from a MIG torch) and an iron knife when I go out in the woods. I have gotten lost in the woods a couple times and the copper came in handy. Understand, following directions driving I may not be the best, but when I am in the woods, I can gauge where I am in relation to other landmarks, even out of sight, instinctually, my sense of direction is awesome in the wild. There have been a couple times where I was hiking then suddenly looked around me and had no idea where I was. Don't get me wrong, I knew where I should have been with the direction I was walking and distance traveled, but I looked around and figured out a few things. 1.) I was suddenly walking in a different Cardinal direction (yes, I can sense what direction I am facing). 2.)The dirt, trees, rocks and topography were... wrong. I have been an avid hiker and general outdoorsman my whole life and have hiked through many states and many different types of ecosystems, and I can see trends in different topographies, and just sort of instinctually can sense when there is going to be a change due to whatever is in the environment. Having said all this, the places I ended up these couple of times were not right even for a change, as the rocks were a completely different kind (not a geologist, can't name the types, I just know there is a difference) and the trees had completely changed, from being primarily oak, maple, and a couple others of the like to what looked like, well, best I could guess was like Aspen or something of the like, with willows (yeah, think about that for a couple seconds, and tell me what is wrong with that). The smell had changed as well, but I looked around, shook my head, pulled out a bit of copper (this was prior to my welding days, I think it was a bit of pipe) and set it on the ground saying "It was real fun playing, but it is time for me to go home. Here is a gift in thanks for your hospitality." Then just started walking back and ended up back where I knew. These times were in different places, and I have not since found the same spots again, despite walking the same trails again on different days. Keep a gift on you when you go in the woods, you never know when you might need it.

Not sure if this fits here, but I think I was mesmerized/taken over by a cat. I have had lots of cats. I always look for black cats. I really don't want any other color. About a year after college graduation, and shortly before I was to leave for a traveling ministry, I decided to go to the animal shelter and see if they had any black cats. Why I did this, I do not know. It made no sense, but I went. They didn't have any, so that put an end to any adoption. I decided to play with the cats a bit. They purred, and rubbed, and did all kinds of cute cat things. There were cats of all ages. In the middle of all the loving, I became aware of a penetrating stare. I look down, and there is this small, grey kitten (maybe 6 weeks) staring at me with a am air of knowledge. I returned the stare. It wasn't mewing, or purring, or even moving. It simply stared at me as if to look into my soul. After a bit of staring at each other I said, "Your name is Arowen." At that, the kitten gave a single mew of affirmation. I found myself paying for and taking home a kitten that I really shouldn't have taken, and yet knew I had to take her. Arowen was a very peculiar cat. Even as a small kitten she absolutely hated all other cats, but loved dogs. She always came when I called. She took in a puppy and taught it how to be a cat. She always seemed to know exactly what was being said, and reacted to it. I can't say she was a faye, but she was very mystical!

I love cats, ever since i was a child i was drawn to them and the fact that you made a video about them makes me happy. I think cats have this misterious air around them, so it isn't weird to think they're are conected to fairies and magic. Egiptians worshiped them for a reason.

Well this time wasn't as weird as the last two times where I hadn't thought about your channel until right up to the day you uploaded new material. But I must admit this time I thought about your channel a few times over the last week or week and a half or so. I thought about your channel yesterday and today got a notification and was surprised. It did creep me out a little bit because I recently had a very bad experience with cats. I live out near the woods in central Florida and I decided to take care of some stray cats who were hanging out near my home. A male and a female. They eventually had kittens and all seemed well. I tried to keep the female in the house but my poodle kept trying to mate with her and it didn't work out. Then strangely one by one over a couple weeks they began to disappear. I didn't understand what was going on. I never heard any commotion or anything outside or at night. I eventually spoke to a neighbor who also strangely has two poodles and she said she stop letting them out because one night she saw a a dark shadow the size of a mid-sized dog chasing after them but it stopped at the edge of the woods. Then another neighbor said she saw a shadow near the woods edge try to take her cat one evening and stop letting her out. I tried 3 shelters to save the remaining cats but noone would take them. I took them back home and still every morning I'd find another missing and because they were wild caging didn't work. They destroyed the cage and knocked the litter all over the place and would cry all night when I did that so I let them out. In a few days they were all gone. I'm heart broken over it but what could I do. I couldn't take them for a ride. Noone might of picked them up and they still could of died. It's just so strange I never heard a sound. Not a fight or a scream or squealing or anything. Just disappearing one by one. Seeing your video about fairy cats brought back memories. Good ones and sad ones of course. Raisin (the mom) looked like the meow mix cat. Her mate I called Tabby was a tabby cat. The little black one I called Coalie, the two grey twins I called the two Diddy's (didymus means twin) little Ray Ray got her name because she looked like the mom and Tabs Jr looked like the Dad. I loved them and their just gone. Drives me nuts not knowing exactly what happened. No sound no noise, nothing. Creepy and sad to say the least. Great stories on your fairy channel I enjoyed it greatly but saddened by them simultaneously because it brought up memories both happy and sad...

The white cat in the alley reminds me of a white cat that used to hang around my house when I was a kid. Whenever I saw it everything else fell still and completely silent. It never DID anything besides vanish when I tried to follow it. This would happen every time, I would follow it down the road and by the time I got around the corner it would vanish seemingly out of the middle of the road, or it would vanish right around the side of my own house where there really wasn’t anywhere for it to go. Eventually I moved away but still haven’t forgotten about it. It had one blue eye and one gold.

The first story in this video reminds me so much of my late cat Freddie. He was a large black cat with a white spot on his chest and he didn't have a mean bone in his body. I could pick him up and hold him like a baby or rub his belly and he'd just purr. Lived to be about 13 years old.

I've noticed lots of extra colorful bugs in my garden before. Are there insect-fae? I mainly see multiple types of grasshoppers, some of which I still cant identify the variety after living here for two years now. Some of them are black and gold and some of then are a bright neon green and I've seen one with lots of red spots. I always try to be nice to them and never step on them or spray and pesticides on my front porch. During a storm, I found one of the black and gold grasshoppers on my front door between the screen door and the front door. I left it there thinking "it just wants a dry spot to wait out the rain" and the morning after the storm had passed I found a chunk of wood on my front patio, I think it's a gift for letting that one black gold grasshopper hang out on my door. It's almost spherical like it had been tumbled around and around in the storm and worked every edge off of it. It wasnt hidden in the grass or by the wildflowers that grow to the side of my apt. I like to think it was a gift from that grasshopper and I actually tried planting orchid seeds in it knowing orchids in the wild grow on trees. Hopefully in the spring itll show signs that it broke out of its dormancy and sprouts emerge

About two years ago when I was around 14, I got reallyyy interested in fairies, I read a lot about then and fantasized about seeing them eventho I knew they weren't all good I had 4 Camilias in my house and I decided to invite fairies to my room, I started following the rules and stuff Until I suddenly could never get myself to sleep in my room, whenever i'd lay down i'd feel alerted like someone is watching me, i literally spent the whole summer sleeping either hardly with the lights on or on the couch in the living room At that time, we had a reallyyyy bad heat wave and it was hot as hell 2 of my camilias died due to the heat except for two, the ones I put in my room, they flourished a looot especially one of them and it kinda confused me cuz the heat was unbearable I got to a point where the feeling i got out of my room is unbearable so I tried to invite the fairies out but not in a disrespectful way I got over that feeling after nearly a month and I could finally sleep but after some time one of my last camilias died from heat eventho the heat wasn't as bad as before while the other started dying about a month later And now i'm thinking, what if it was for real the work of fairies, like I'm still confused

Beautiful. Thank you for the stories. This recalls me to what happened the evening of the day my mother passed away. Before she died, she had been talking about a cat getting up on the bed, and she seemed to like that. There was no cat, by the way. The evening after she passed, my sister and I saw a large Savannah cat slowly rise up and look through the storm door screen. It stayed, watching in the house and not looking at my sister or me, and then it slowly dipped back out of sight. No one in the neighborhood had such a cat, nor did we ever see it again.

I'm late to the comment party but I enjoyed the Cat Sidhe story! It reminds me of my own unique encounter with a cat in middle school where a friendly cat let me pet it on sight and when I asked it directly 'where do you live?' it took me across the street, looking back to make sure I followed, and led me to a house. And when I knocked and asked them if this was their cat, they said 'yes'. It was a very wild moment for me! I look forward to your faerie novel! Will it be a fiction story or is it going to be a recounting of faerie encounter stories? Can we hear a summary?

Great vids! Just FYI about your mentioning being an author, self-publishing gives you all the creative control and a pretty good platform to create your books, but no marketing/promotional arm at all. I've self-published 6 books through Amazon CreateSpace (now KDP - Kindle Direct Publishing), and the only stand-out benefit is that you can order boxes of your books at (low) cost and sell them to bookstores, at book fairs, author expos, etc., and also leave trackback links on various sites and pages to where your books sell online. Love the cat-fairy theme, and best of luck to you, SFG!

Everyone assumes that Faerie cat-sith's are black with a star burst white birthmark on their chest. That is just silly at best and third eye blinded simple at worst. I have one and she is beautifully marked as a tortoise shell calico not a black cat wiccan familiars cat. They come in all forms, that is the true spirit of the Fae. She is extremely difficult at times and the other cats in my household absolutely despise and attack her constantly. It is very sad and frustrating for me. I think of her as my daughter but she is moody as all get out and is beyond challenging to love. Life is a journey and she is part of it. I love her dearly regardless.

One day, She disappeared from my home, never to be found. We have no idea from where She could get out of our home, we had the Windows and the Doors closed. I was heartbroken but I had her Nice Vénus, equaly black, mysterious and beautiful. I got attached to her Because of the Lost of Miriam. I rased her and we had together for 10 years or so. Few years ago, She disappeared on the christmass Eve, just like Miriam. Sometimes i think they were angels send to me to help me through hard Times. Then, they got back to their relm. What do you think? This things wont get out of my mind. I miss them. Truly
