Holy crap! That was sick. I love that song. Special place in my heart for Tears for Fears over the years. I was curious to see how you guys would "funk" this one. Man, it started out fine. No surprises. I was excited to see the organ. And then at around 2:20, this just exploded in an unexpected direction. So good. Lean but tight drums, cool bass cooking along, enough rhythm guitar to fill it in and that organ setting the world on fire. BAM!

Man, I love this! As others have said, it takes an already brilliant song to an even more beautiful place. Truly heavenly synergy between these terrifically talented cats! This is in my top musical moments of all time right now. Very few pieces of music have ever moved me so much. Santana’s Life Divine did it to me in my late teens.
