Mike am always appreciated the videos and the follow up videos you do. I'm finally home to watch your videos on my 40" TV. Those clamps can still be used and have for holding items while I weld. I'm wishing you and your audience a safe Happy New Year for all that are observing. Mike give your pups a big hug as you gave them a better life.

I take apart the satellite things all the time, it's like a million screws once you get to the lip off there. And it's all cast aluminum. A small flat head screwdriver along the edge of it pry it up, takes no time at all.

Mike: Long shot, but I'm on the same side of Houston and helped my friend's Nana with a set of steps for her Boston Terriers to climb into bed that she needed to get rid of. Seeing your bulldogs made me think that some shelter may appreciate them. They're solidly built out of OSB and just need some new carpeting etc. I will be happy to do it if there is a need in your rescue community. I just hate to toss it in a dumpster. I told her last year that I needed it, but I had to put my little doggie down earlier this year. If you see this, and think it would help, I can make it happen brother. Keep on being the Alpha trash panda!

I just took one of those satellite dish horns apart. Very easy. Number 1 Philip screws, on the back, under the silicone caulk. High grade PCB ( gold ) inside. When your done, you'll have clean cast aluminum too.

The 400 on the big bowl may have been 400 Rupees (Indian money which equals just under $5 US today). Be sure to research it though, it would be a shame to scrap pieces that are valuable antiques. Great haul, as usual Mike!

Thrift stores used to have beautiful scenic brass plates that were wall hangings usually made in England. The Koreans and Thais made beautifully crafted brass of high quality. Now, we have brass items made in India that is not the same high quality and is artificially aged to get higher prices. Shoppers beware! Scrappers delight!😊

Hey Mike, another great followup video. I hope you get those old brass/copper plates/candle sticks/etc checked out as they can sometimes be worth a lot because people throw stuff out without thinking about how much the stuff is worth. Also, that old sawzall might be a good tool to keep in the truck along with a 10 to 20 foot extension cord.
