I find it quite symbolic that his codename is the Wolf. Wolves hunt in packs, and that's how he rose to become known as an assassin, always fighting with a gang (at the beginning) or taking care of opponents for his gang. After his gang and wife died, he sought to avenge them in a foreign land and is instantly killed by a hunter (Ladybug) and 'defanged' (his knife was taken from him to be used by the same assassin). It is as they say "Lone wolves are dead wolves"

There seems to be a theme in this movie about your own weapon being your downfall. Wolf is killed with his knife, Hornet with her poison, Tangerine with his gun, and White Death is killed by his daughter, who he likely raised as a weapon. Prince is the only exception to this, and even then, she uses Lemon as a weapon against Father.

Couple of things I noticed when I rewatched the scene: 1. In the flashback it shown that Wolf always double-checks his target that is except for this fight. He never checked the photo, he remembered Ladybug from the wedding and assumed that he was the assassin. 2. He says that he came to kill the assassin of his boss but fate made it two for one special....what he is trying to imply is that fate gave him the chance to kill the assassin (which he wrongly assumes is ladybug) who also happens to be the same person that rescued him from dying with the others. He wanted to kill the man who saved him along with the assassin that killed his boss but turns out both were the same person. The real reason why he starts attacking Ladybug is because he saved him from dying!

His outfit is so evocative: He wears his cartel soldier father's necklace always, and carries his knife into battle. His signature sunglasses were taken from a victim in a street fight, and his gold plated gun was awarded to him for impressing the cartel. He used this golden gun to save his crew's lives in a gunfight, and became a cartel assassin. He stole his signature gold-plated boots from one of the first men given to him in an envelope. Finally, on his wedding day he only didn't die because Ladybug spilled wine on his white blazer, and he was trying to get the stains out instead of biting into his poisoned wedding cake. When he arrives on the train, the Wolf is wearing his gold plated boots and dark sunglasses, carrying his father's knife and his gold plated gun, wearing his wolf necklace, and wearing the wine stained wedding suit from when his bride died. He is dressed for revenge in various relics of his violent past, intending to kill the Hornet at any cost. He knows the Hornet killed his wife, but he thinks Ladybug had something to do with it when he shows up on the train. In fact, Ladybug saved his life, since dying with his wedding guests would have been worse than ruining his suit.

Tentochu [ Tento mushi ]. He was on to it with the psychology. He shouts the name of a good pyschology book at the homocidal daughter of the White Death at the end just as she's wiped out but causes her to pause long enough to arrive at her demise. But they survived her. I loved the 2 brothers as well. They had a method in their poor messed up heads. Thomas the Tank Engine. Ha. So simple a method of psychology that would keep him safe as long as he avoided the corrupt or dangerous "Diesel's" [ Bad people ]. The appearance of the old Japanese [ Nipponese ] guy who's grandson was attacked was typical of a great story, his Zen belief followed him on to the train which was powerful, wise and oddly reassuring. On the surface it looks like a movie about a high speed train with 95% killers on board, even the little girl who dresses like a school girl is a killer, and the most dangerous since she turns almost every killer against another, even the soul searching killer that Brad Pitt plays; Tentochu. [ Lady Bug ]. But the story comes together like a good Snatch or Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels concept where many stories all come together. It's a very good movie. I would recommend this movie to myself if I had not already seen it. There are 2 types of people in the world; Snakes or Mongooses. The Mongoose is the only animal that effortfortlessly avoids the strike speed of the Snake. So. Ha. Which one are you? The Snake or Mongoose? Enjoy folks. Thanks to Scene City for the upload.
