That was one of the things that was very unrealistic in this movie for me.....If I was a prisoner, it's one thing to see an escaped person being nice and let me out of my cell with a key, but its another to see, oh idk...A HUGE FREAKING MONSTER TEARING THE BARS FROM MY CELL..... If it had an extra say 30 or another fifty it definitely would've been rated R and bc you know a good chunk of the budget went into making carnage look that good. The detail is amazing. There's even like this plasma substance that comes out whenever Cletus transforms. Also I like to think of it as a test to see how to push the PG rating of something. Bc that what this movie did it is indeed borderline R rated. Just needed more blood and guts.

I've always wondered, did cletus feel anything strange going on with him, after ingesting Eddie's symbiote-contaminated blood? Like, surely there would be signs that he may have seen, that shows that he's becoming different. The movie just shows him bite Eddie's hand, ingested Eddie's symbiote-contaminated blood, then later we see that he's about to be executed. He obviously felt something, or witnessed some incredible feat of superhuman abilities that he did after his last interview with Eddie.

One of the things I disliked about the movie was the idea that Carnage and Cletus Kassidy did not bond as well as Eddie Brock and Venom when in reality it was the other way around. Carnage bonded with the blood of Cletus.
