Hi again from NSW Australia. I have a routine of watching RVerTV every morning. It's become the highlight of my day. This All American Scenic Highway is regarded as one of the most scenic drives in the US of A. Back in 1993 I was coming the opposite direction from Hite. These videos trigger great memories. Thank you Russ.

🙋‍♀️Hello Russ! Beautiful land your driving through in Utah! How it all blended in browns, reds, greens, grayish, just neat! How perfect that circle looked half dark green. I think that was a flag on top of that rock wall. Quiet peaceful little towns without a traffic light. Our gas is up to $1.89 a gal. In Independence, Va. noticed Thursday while on way to Drs. Thank you Russ! 👍 "Virtual Summer Vacation"

Hi, just found your site, watched and had to subscribe. I remember this route so well, I've travelled it many times, never ceases to amaze me. In 2003, I visited with a good friend. We stopped for a meal in Escalante then travelled approx 12 miles East and took a right onto the Hole in the Rock Road. This was in September, the washboarded road was dry. We wild camped at the Dancehall in the Rock, magical place where the early Mormons stopped on their route across the Colorado River to Blanding and Bluff. So much history around here, from an oldtimer Englishman from Shropshire.

Hello Russ! I'm really enjoying the video footage from Bryce to Escalante. I have driven scenic 12 both ways and the best is yet to come! After Escalante you will see incredible scenery and canyons that lead to the Hogback where there are steep dropoffs on both sides of the road and a great place to launch your drone. I'm looking forward to seeing that footage and then heading to Boulder Mountain and onto Capitol Reef. Great video!

On your way to Henrieville, camp or visit Kodachrome Basin State Park in the valley. It has w/s hookups, red rock formations (one of which looks like a 40 ft. phallic shape, ahem, that never ceases to amaze me at least). Very peaceful, excellent state park and campground.

Take 24 east to Hanksville and check out the convenience store in the cave they hollowed out in a sandstone cliff. Then continue north on 24 to Goblin Valley State Park. The movie Galaxy Quest with Tim Allen was filmed there and the landscape is like nothing you will see anywhere else. 24 will take you up to I70 not far past Goblin Valley.

Really enjoying your 2020 road trip. Bryce Canyon is the second best National Park of Utah’s big 5. If you think Bryce Canyon is beautiful you would have blown your mind if you would of went to Zion National Park. By far the best park in Utah in my opinion. To bad you don’t know how to fly your drone except straight up and down. You could get some really good video if you could fly it horizontally. Looking forward to the rest of your journey.

Remembering the trip with the wife and kids back in the mid-90's. Got to the part up on the razor-back where the drop off is on both sides. Just two lanes and a shoulder on both sides... and then nothing. I thought it was cool... the kids thought it was cool... the wife reclined her seat and stared at the roof the entire time. SHE did NOT think it was cool.
