That seems a great price for such an amazingly versatile trumpet with really beautiful sound every way you played it. A horn for a lifetime.

Trent Austin What other trumpet/s that you've tried would you say are most similar in sound and feel?

Also what's the difference between the JM1 and JM1x?

I would really like that Schagerl trumpet, does in come in a lacquered brass finish?
@austincustom4 жыл бұрын
Yes many finish options are available.

Hi Trent! is this Schagerl superior to the yamaha ytr 9335?

Sounds fabulous. I've just ordered a JM1 - if I like it I may be saving up my pennies for one of these! Are they a similar blow but more refined, or completely different?
@austincustom6 жыл бұрын
The JM-1 is a fantastic instrument as well. Very clean, agile, and smooth. Similar feel on all of the Schagerl Piston horns but this Meister is something special. You'll love the JM-1!

Sounds a little "tinny", or is it just me? Are you using the good mic? Thin in the lower frequencies?
@austincustom4 жыл бұрын
it's not tinny but could have been the mic. Thanks for watching the video!

Hey there, you play and sound great! But why do you use plastic mouthpieces? I experienced that the attack is often a bit slow and stuffy, and the slotting allways quite wobbly... yours seems to be different. Please tell me why, because I generally like the lipfeeling of them but could never find the right one. Respectfully, Paul.

that's not plastic. It's metal and coated with a hypo-allergenic material. We do make acrylic mouthpieces that are also so great for people with allergies. Any additional questions can be sent via email (better for answering and keeping records for our shop) to mpcsales@austincustombrass.com
