Schaufahren des MSV Schiffsmodellbau NÖ Süd in Reichenau

So wie in Laxenburg veranstaltete der MSV Schiffsmodellbau Nö süd auch in Reichenau an der Rax ein durchaus erfolgreiches Schaufahren. Nicht programmgemäß kenterte und versank einer unser schönsten Rahsegler nach einer Windbö, er wurde aber äusserst spektakulär geborgen.

Das erweckt Kindheitserinnerungen in mir. Wir waren damals (mitte der 70er) als Kinder oft am Schalkenmehrener Maar. (Vulkansee in der Eifel). Dort kamen immer auch mal wieder Modellbauer mit ihren absolut faszinierenden ferngesteuerten Schiffen. 😍

A sailing ship capsized!!! Well, if people honestly studied history, they would know that the same thing happened with the "VASA" Svedc sailing ship. They took him out on the surface of the water.. and he is standing in the museum in Stockholm!! Anyone into old ships should visit the place... Hahaha.. as soon as I saw the sailboat going down into the water... I knew it would capsize.. even sink...

Bin zwar nur ein Videoangucker, war nicht dort, aber das sieht nicht aus wie die Victory(3 Deck/Trafalgar), glaube auch das diese Fregatte, einen Zusatzkiel hat und mit diesem an einer Unteife dort beim Baum hängen blieb und deshalb gekentert ist. Wenn man nicht immer alle Segel gesetzt hat und die Kanonen eingefahren hat, sind diese majestätischen Schiffe eigendlich sehr stabil.

Schöne Modelle und schönes Wetter. Aber dass die "HMS Victory" (?)kentern würde, da war ich mir fast sicher. So viel Ballastblei kann man da gar nicht anbringen, dass es nicht passiert. Sind halt extrem windanfällig, selbst bei sehr schwachem Wind. Aber das wird nicht das erste und letzte Mal gewesen sein, Hauptsache die Elektronik ist wasserfest.

Die Victory ist ein anderes Format, aber dass dieses nicht gleich untergeht, das erstaunt. Das ganze Schiff ist 'voll-kuhl' und dann noch die gestapelten Beiboote..! Wenn erstmal das Pulver nass wird, dann müssen als nächstes Taucher runter.

Das ist so zu erklären, das "Rettungsboot" da waren die Paddel angekettet, dafür blieb keine Zeit, das aufzuschließen, da dieses Boot meist vermietet wird. Normal wird kein RC Schiff versenkt, war Notfall.
