In this video I give you my 1 year review of this great Schecter guitar. Since I bought it, I have performed some key modifications which I cover in the video. I got mine about 5 years ago and I still love it. I heard that every Shecter made in Korea gets shipped to LA where they do a full setup before sending them out to stores. Mine had a Setup in the USA sticker on the back. Nice guitars!

Very cool @grumpygrandpagaming1641! They check them in LA, then I buy them at Sweetwater if possible where they check them again, the old double check. Every Schecter I have is awesome IMO, and I have 5 of them, each with a different tonal pallet to work with. Hope ya sub! Nice job, Jedi! I purchased the C-1 Platinum Blackout version but it arrived with a chip in the horn, so I returned to GC. But I did pick up the Reaper 6 FRS & Reaper 7 and they rock!

Thanks @Newagemesiah! Too bad the one you order had an issue, but glad GC and Sweetwater make returning them very easy. I have had to send back guitars, always a bummer when you get a turd! @@JediJingleMaker I actually found you through that video and it really helped sell me on the Schecter Reaper 6. I chose the FRS model because of the Sustainiac. However, I do really like the baseline model with the coil splitter, which is why I also picked up a Reaper 7 MS to get the best of both worlds.

I am new to guitars and I have a question and I feel like it’s dumb. I love the EMGS but I would like a regular humbucker in there. I wanna be able to switch them and of course go through the process of me modding and getting comfortable with doing whatever to my guitars.

Yes, definitely, the EMGs fit the humbucker slot.

You can easily switch them and learning how to change pickups is a super fun way to love guitars IMO. It is much easier to go to passive pups than the other way since you need a place to put a battery with the EMGs. Stick with the guitar and it can be an incredible part of your life. It is for me.
