One of the shows that got stronger as it went along. It has no slump season

I’ve never liked a show as much as Schitt’s Creek. I’ve never felt as safe as when I’m in its world. I’ve never known love as free to grow as when I’m watching it. It’s not been an easy few months for any of us, but knowing that it will always be there for us makes everything okay. Thanks to Dan, Eugene and all the cast, crew and writers for creating this perfect gem of a show that has shown us how beautiful the world could be. They will never truly understand what they have given us or how much their beautiful creation has meant to us. Our effusive thanks is but a mote of dust in the beam of sunlight we bask in thanks to them. We will forever be indebted to them for the joy they have given us in 22 minute segments and I wish nothing but the best of luck with all future endeavours. I think that the fact that there is no homophobia or bigotry in Schitt's Creek is wonderful and that is why it means so much to LGBTQAI+ people and their allies. There never needed to be an angsty episode where people were commenting on David's Pan-sexuality, Patrick being Gay, Jake being Polyamorous (although I suspect that Jake is a Sexual Hedonist rather than Poly) or Ronnie being a Lesbian. Everyone just accepts everyone for who they are, and wouldn't that be a wonderful world to live in?

Best thing on TV. Period. Once I finish streaming what's currently released, I go right back to the beginning and start again. And it gets funnier each time - except during the tender moments and then I just cry more and more.

Good intelligent interview! Schitt's Creek is hilarious and the interviewer is right that it is about income inequality. Loved many episodes, one of which is when Mr. Rose put his rich previous False friends in their place pointing that they didn't help at all as compared to how truer friends are the economically poor Schitts couple. Moira (Catherine) is sooo excellent in her vocabulary and delivery of those words. Love her!

Brilliant show. Wonderful writing. About the continuity, my stand out was; in the beginning, they were given fifteen minutes to pack their essentials. However, throughout the show, their wardrobe, and their actual luggage (not scene where there's about 150 same size/color luggage bags sitting on a truck. For a person who notices details, those continuity conflicts stand out. Brilliant show. I was sorry to see it end.

@1bwash4 жыл бұрын
Love hearing the cast talk, but ask them questions. Don’t make statements and do the “I wonder....” and then pretend like you haven’t just made a claim you’re forcing them to respond to. The show is clearly in itself very much about love, acceptance, and growth. It’s just so dumb to have like Google of all entities pretending it is the most woke and asking who the characters would vote for. That’s not the point of the show. The show is making progress through actions. It makes progress by showing love, not superficially talking about who to vote for. So yeah, the family who loves and embraces their son about to marry another man or their daughter loving a scientific researcher probably isn’t going to vote Trump. No duh. People are making art, stop trying to center it around something that it was never reflective of.

I love devouring all the Schitt's Creek cast interviews. After finishing this video, I went back and watched the first episode again. Probably around the fifth time. unfortunately, Dan's memory is a bit errant. David does have a cell phone in the pilot and there's no evidence that he broke when Moira finds the light bulb.
