I feel a real chaos inside me, And i feel i cannot escape it, I fear i will just evaporate and or desintegrate, It is a terrible fear, and nothing can save me from it, I feel desesperate, I feel i am down the rabbit hole, it is sure i will go crazy shortly because i deal with something unbarable inside me. Plus i feel no energy nor pleasure in doing what i use to like. I feel completly dead inside, They prescribed me an antipsychotic but i have difficulty taking it constantly But i don’t think it may help me, as i feel a real chaos inside me, it is not cool. Good luck everyone, i think îm lost

I just found your channel because my son is currently in the hospital on a psychiatric hold. He is 25 and just diagnosed with scizophrenia. He is currently pretty I'll and is in active psycosis. I'm looking for any information I can to help my son. I am soo worried and concerned for his well being. Thank you for sharing your experience. It's so helpful for so many of us. Also my son will not admit that there is anything wrong with him . He totally believes that he is perfectly fine. Is this common and will he realize that he is I'll once his medicine kicks in and his brain settles?

M Wall When someone is experiencing psychotic delusions they’ll almost always think nothing is wrong with them and they’ll be convinced their delusions are true even if you convince them that they are ill unfortunately. Delusions just feel realer than real. Antipsychotics don’t always help and if they don’t, trying different antipsychotics are worth the trouble. Antipsychotics and other drugs prescribed for schizophrenia usually take a while to fully take effect but they’ll help with delusional thoughts and hallucinations. If he responds well to the medication over time reality will sink in. Therapy can help him accept and understand reality through that process.

@@MyOddExperiences thank you so much for sharing that. This is his second hold but his first hold was last year and they let him out after four days with no meds no diagnosis. He's been going down hill for over a year and finally after trying to talk him into going to the hospital I had to break down and call the police for a wellness check. He's been in for about 5 days now and the doctor has finally gave him a diagnosis. I mean he so sick right now . I am very hopfull he will start to grasp what is happening soon..it's heartbreaking to watch your child go through this. I am so scared and sad for him ...watching you and others explain and share your story is a comfort ❤❤💪💪💪

My brother is diagnosed with schizophrenia too, and he never seems to believe he’s sick no matter what you tell him. Have been looking everywhere to find a way to help him and I know there may not be a cure for it but for some reason I never seem to ever lose hope in situations, and I still want to help him and be there to see if maybe he can recover one day. I grew up with him as a kid and seeing him become more and more paranoid every day breaks my heart. If you have any advice or tips it would help a lot. Thanks.

Be there for him, talk to him and listen to him talk about his problems including his delusions and paranoid thoughts. Don’t argue with delusions but don’t support them either, it’s generally better to let him talk to others about his delusions by answering your questions or venting to you. Doing those things, especially if he’s medicated or has professional help can help him become more lucid. Arguing with him could make him frustrated and close up because it’s just natural human instinct to be defensive when someone tries to contradict your reality. Find relaxing activities you two can do together. I like doing something creative, playing a game, or taking a walk and talking.

Anxiety, depression and such is when demons enter. They are the system of entrance. I believe schizophrenia is a morphing illness. God and angles try to form you, with different temptations. Keep your moral high, ethics high, and love yourself and others.

I’m not in school yet but I would be taking classes if it weren’t for COVID. It definitely isn’t easy but as you adapt to your disorder and become more organized to compensate for your shortcomings it gets easier. I found meds that work for me and worked to minimize cognitive problems (like reducing meds that slow me down). I also try to keep sharp by finding hobbies that keep my brain working. I personally like programming and drawing. Creating something with long term goals is great for helping you focus.

I’m doing okay. Weight gain is a problem for me too but I’m trying to exercise and eat healthily. Schizophrenia stopped me from working too for a long time and when I finally got a new job, COVID stopped me from working. Life with schizophrenia is full of challenges but it does get easier, small bits of progress will happen if you don’t give up and eventually you can live a normal life again.
