Mosquito was originally built as a fast bomber. It was fast enough to be a fighter(and night fighter), long ranged enough for deep recon. It served as a special ops strike plane. It served as a fast courier able to just fly from Britain to Moscow. Built into an anti-ship ground attack with a huge cannon......I can keep going.
