If you want to try this concept, play pig, ghostface, or wraith, and just camp a gen, totem, chest, or whatever you'd "disguise" as in the map. Guarantee those gens will fly.

Best outcome of that is if the entity and Pennywise made a deal right before pennywise death in a different timeline. The entity would offer him a way out but in order for him to live, he will have to serve the entity with limited powers. In serving the entity he gets to live eternally and gets to kill as much as he wants. Just no more kids lol

Especially if you consider BHVR would probably have Pennywise be brought into the Realm lore-wise right before meeting his fate after fighting the Loser's Club. When he exits survivor form he charges forward and bites like the demogorgon shred ability. If he hits this bite ability his terror radius is transferred to the survivor hit by the bite for 10 seconds. Idk just an idea.

Most people don’t really think about the “shapeshifting into a survivor” concept when talking about Pennywise. Pennywise usually turns into something the kids (or in this case, survivors) are scared of in order to build it up their fear. Pennywise says that fear is like “salting the meat”, making his meal much more satisfying. Therefore Pennywise should always be able to turn into something that builds up fear, or rather turn into another killer.

Pennywise's presence supercedes The Entity's authority. However, it is possible to use Pennywise's offspring, Dandelo. Dandelo naturally looks like a Comedian, but since he's a relative of Pennywise, he can have a Pennywise skin. You can't use creatures that are stronger than the Entity, or it looks strange in canon. Dandelo's powers are very similar to Pennywise, though a bit toned down, since it's a child of a God, rather than a God itself. There is one major difference between Dandelo and Pennywise. Dandelo feeds on laughter more than fear, the laughter can get so bad that it can cause asphixiation on his victims.

Also I thought of a pretty appropriate power for Penny wise. He could set up balloons around the map that acts kinda like a hag trap. Getting too close would cause the balloon to pop and splatter blood. Popping a balloon would fill a "fear meter" on the survivor. The higher the fear meter the stronger pennywise becomes against that survivor. From things like a insta down or a myers like insta mori if the fear is maxed out.

Honestly, Carrie and her MULTIPLE references and iterations have made him sour towards loaning out his characters. As I would be if I made a bunch a wonderful stories, why would I risk making a few bucks for someone to bastardize my projects. It's prideful to us but it's just customary to them. Besides, Pennywise is absolutely useless in DBD due to him being even in the game stretches the already convoluted plot even further. His powers are meant to kill kids and spook adults. He resides only in Derry. Additionally, the Losers club are pursued simply because they are the one's that got away. Besides DLC characters, the rest of the cast are canonically untouchable since they never knew him.

@@Private-Potato Pyramid Head is a manifestation within James Sunderland's head, his appearance within the Realm is beyond questionable before even considering his willing transferal of subservience from Silent Hill to the Entity's Realm. The Demogorgon is a demon, and it is rather unreasonable at face value for them to "hook" survivors in the name of sacrifice for the Entity-- how do they even understand the act of hooking? Those two examples are a bit confusing, but if you rummage around somewhere deep, you can probably find conclusive, acceptable solutions as to how they make sense. Pennywise makes a lot more sense than both of them, though. Pennywise is not an incredible eldritch monster, in fact he is rather lackluster. He made deals with humans in order to get his slop every 27 years, and was beat and subsequently killed by a group of losers. The Entity is leagues above him-- not only because of what I've said before, but inherently so; Pennywise feasts on fear. The Entity feasts on /all/ emotion. That is a severe power imbalance. Top that off with the fact that lorewise, BHVR would probably opt to bring Pennywise into the Entity's Realm right before he passes after the defeat, giving him the two options of 1. choosing death, or 2. finding himself in an agreement in which he is fed his precious fear, so long as he feeds the Entity as well in the form of participation in the trials (a win-win). I think if you look at it from that perspective, it starts to make a lot more sense.

As for the reason why there are no cosmetics for Freddy, it's because there are multiple licenses for each style/ and or conception. Behavior only has the license for what we have with no additional cosmetics. If they were to add cosmetics (skins survivors from other movies), they would have to negotiate another license with whoever owns the right to that particular skin/survivor .

If we look at Payday 2, they lost the Scarface licence last year and the content of the DLC stayed in the game but it is unable to be bought anymore. BHVR almost definitely still has the Freddy license, it's just too expensive to create more cosmetics for Freddy as they might need to change the agreement to make that happen.

@@tk_the_onion That's why I said you should be able to mark multiple objects that you can teleport and disguise into seamlessly, like a locker near a generator or a pallet that you know survivors will use. That way you can either reach whatever they're headed to before them, or stealth teleport into a location you know they're going to be. Kinda like Hag, but with props, and you can teleport to them whenever you want (albeit only 2 or 3), aswell as turning into them if you think that a survivor will work on a gen near the prop you turned into.

the clown in this game is straight up m1 killer and 100% anit looping, he throws bottles for slows and blinds making it really hard, pennywise would have alot of different powers and probably be harder to play they would both be a different play style. would be nice if pennywise could transform into another killer for a certain duration but its just random! so you gotta know how to play your killers but he could be really good since he can change to other killers while also keeping other survivors on their toes and forcing different gameplay instead same gameplay all the time. plague priest, legion, huntresss, deathslinger, trapper and yes he gets two traps he can set on the field and the traps stay until end of match. spirit, oni and ghost face and wraith. i think these killers would work out well with pennywise giving him enough killer base at random. this would have to be pennywise main power or something getting to be another killer for like 2mins.

I mean I think 1 the entity is a few ranks above Pennywise power wise and would be able to actually contain The Lights (what i assume his killer title would be) and seeing as the entity is a living dimension who feeds off of fear and excitement primarily and exists outside most universes able to pull things into itself it could strike a deal with Pennywise just as he is being defeated saying that it can save him and how since they both feed off of fear it could be mutually beneficial if they work together, then throw in the idea of how the entity could most likely escape the turtle and avoid it it can protect Pennywise from it and anything that mighy be stronger than him.

@@MADgraham10 No. IT isn’t under any influence of the turtle. Essentially, if we combine the universes, the entity was created by the turtle. IT’s true form resides outside of the universe. Maturin threw up our universe, and our came the entity as well. It is described that Pennywise is only a fingernail of what IT truly is. Entity is more powerful then Pennywise, but not IT in his true form. IT resides outside such weak universes, unless IT wants food, which is why it sent a micro portion of itself to terrorize Derry, because IT is truly evil. The embodiment of it. While the turtle, Maturin, is described to be his counter part and polar opposite. On your point of IT being restrained by the turtle. They cannot defeat each other. Neither of them is strong enough to. Gan, the God of the universe, created them both to be polar opposites of the same strength.

If I were a designer for a pennywise killer concept, I would have him give a 3 second long hallucination to all survivors to where they see him for 3 seconds nearby(when he isn't) and spook them. Also he would have a 5 second dash as his spider form before returning to hit normal clown appearance. I'm still trying to think of a good Mori but I don't know.

The Nightmare on Elm Street license probably doesn't have a lot to do with the cost of extending it with Warner Brothers. A similar thing happened to it as Friday the 13th. The copyright was old and Wes Craven's estate filed to have the rights returned to them after his death. So, Nightmare/Freddy is in a similar legal limbo right now.

An idea for dead by daylight is it for pennywise they could do where players would see random characters like you said and also his first ability would be teleportation and then they could add like a bunch of sewers around that he could teleport to and if people got close to the sewers pennywise could pull them in and get an insta kill and then his second ability would be to sneak up behind them and then bite into them and then it leave a poison effect and then his kill ability would be balloons he could set up balloons around the map but they'd be invisible to the survivors and if they got near them they would pop and do 50% damage to the survivors but it's just an idea by the way love your content

Man how trippy would it be to see the killer as whichever killer your survivor fears most based on lore. Each survivor would see a different killer but pennywise would have his own set of abilities not related to the killer shown to the survivor. Dairy or an underground sewer tunnel system would be a great map.

Now that there is a second movie with adult characters it's actually very possible because originally when we only had children we couldn't do it because the survivors at least have to be adults because like who would put a child with this pain and it's not like they even need a survivor they could just do penalize but the characters in IT are a lot more important than it itself define the most iconic human characters in horror movies because they have so much more development aside from Andy from child's Play and all those other characters these characters are really important to and very recognizable

I've been wanting him for so long: Alerting presence: increasing chanting of children while a floating red balloon goes near you then penny teleport when It pops. Or him laughing from the distance or seemingly looking for Gorgie Attack: claw slash Second attack: morphing into a survivor that will goes to a survivor unnoticed (stalking effect). Other thing is he doesn’t really fit it (same with pyramid head he dosent belong their lore wise ) compare to the all other killers, pennywise actually surpasses the Entity in power it make no sense for Entity to capture pennywise especially how easily pennywise could devour the Entity for a snack. A lot people only seen the movie and not read the book, but basically pennywise is a being who existed before creation of the multiverse in the macro verse. The kids didn’t beat him by conquering their fear they only won to being amp in power by maturin, his brother and later hinted to be Gan who is the supreme god of Stephenking verse. And of this was to destroy and harm mere fraction of pennywise. As the clown you see isn’t the real deal, just an avatar he uses to interact with lower dimension

I think that it's a combination of a few things, but they likely will get the license one day when they get them sorted out. Let's be real, getting Pennywise will be one of the more expensive licenses to get out of all their licensed chapters. It's a very popular and extremely successful franchise. The second issue is, fitting pennywise into the lore can be difficult. If you've read the book, you know that pennywise can basically be interpreted as the entity. They are both cosmic beings that are from other dimensions that benefit off exploiting the emotions of their victims as a means of consumption. That being said, this could be worked out probably easily but at the same time, there could be issues. Thirdly, Pennywise has such a wide range of abilities, how could you even fit all of them into one killer without them being OP, and how can select just one or two abilities without Pennywise feeling incomplete? Pennywise can create illusions, shapeshift, see into your mind, know where you're at all times, put people under a spell, not to mention the cosmic mind battle he can partake in from the end of the novel. I think if it were up to me, i'd have his main ability be shape shifting. His mori would involve his deadlights, and he'd have a detection perk, a perk that removes his terror radius, and a perk that allows him to exploit off the survivors fear (based on the amount of hookings or something else). But what those abilities would entail I'm not sure yet, they're all just ideas.
