Bit of a polarising beer by the sounds. Probably not one I would lean towards myself either. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Cheers mate 🍻

Many thanks for watching and commenting and I can't be doing with high ABV beers 🙄, I forget half the night and wake up with a thick head 🤣. For me citrus flavours have a place, and that place is in a can of lilt, not in a beer 😎🤣. I think we are on the same page of the hymn sheet and singing the same tune (just getting a few of management style phrases in one sentence 😉🤣) when it comes to beer, if it's not broke don't fix it springs to mind 👍. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.

I'm a fan of Mangrove Jacks beers, with pouch I sort out the bottom ooh er and cut the top off, take the gubbins out and stand in hot water, I like anice IPA but not keen on grapefruit so Ive never tried this one. I have a question for you Sir, you've said in the past that you re-use the yeast. How do you keep just the yeast if you dry hop, thanks for the video (and discipline to keep your beer till so clear)🍻

Many thanks for watching and commenting. Do you cut the complete top off of the pouch and have the malt extract exposed and in danger of being spilled? Some of the double pouches give you an idea of where the yeast and instructions are but others don't and I'd rather not take the time to faff about and find out. When I dry hop I add the hops (pellets usually) in a weighted hop bag to the fermenter a couple of days before I'm going to do the transfer to the barrel. That means that the yeast is still ready to be reused after transfer. If I have to save my yeast for any time I keep it in a (milk) bottle with a weak sugar solution and an airlock and add a bit of sugar every other day. Keeping the beer clear is easy, it just needs a bit of space. I have two fermenters so the beer stays in the fermenter for a week and then drops most of the yeast in the second week. It is transferred almost clear with finings added and then I have four barrels so it is in the barrel at least three weeks before drinking. Sometimes the beer can be a little cloudy initially but is usually crystal to polished after a day. Another barrel, or perhaps two, would mean that I could drink different beers of an evening and all would be clear - but the wife would probably kill me 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
