Love how you break apart the instructions! So many buzzwords are used in the industry, sometimes we just want straightforward directions

Yeah exactly, I often have to glance over the fancy words to just get to how to use the product 😏

Would love you to do a in-depth review of bead hero. I’ve had fantastic results. It’s a little expensive but the slickness, and beads are top notch

Hey Jon I used Carpro ech20 as a drying aid today at 1:20. Really nice to use and nice finish. Not a protection monster but that's what I'm looking for. Cheap as chips at 1:20
@KiranPatel-fk1pg14 күн бұрын
Since carpro Ech20 doesn't leave any real protection behind, you can also consider other rinseless washes diluted to waterless strength. For example P&S absolute is slicker than Ech20 and only needs to be diluted 64:1 for waterless

I'm going to have to disagree slightly. I used Ech2o on my lino flooring and damn near killed myself the next time I walked on it. P&s is much better for flooring. And everyone's experiences are different, but on my car, the sponge is much slicker with Ech2o.

@@pigeonpoo1823 I've never personally used ech20 as a rinseless, only as a qd at 20:1, I didn't find it to be as slick as other drying aids I have used in the past and even found absolute at 64:1 left behind some slickness. I also fought some streaking with ech20 at 20:1 on a cool panel. Maybe as a rinseless ech20 is slicker. I've also realised that some products are slicker in use and others may leave more slickness behind after buffing. It really is preference.

@@KiranPatel-fk1pg You could try dillute Sonax BSD with water 1:1 and add it a bit of Ech2O. Very good mix.

I use Meguiars Ultimate Gold Class spray wax. It has carnuba, it can be used in full sun, and doesn’t stain plastic trim. Only costs £11

Try get ahold and of some of the ADBL range of products. Polish company extremely popular here in Ireland. Would love a comparison with BH products, particularly alkaline snow foam, iron remover and wheel cleaners

You right about the price , that’s way to high , I can get a good detailer spray from infinity wax for £10 or their QDX ceramic detailer for £14.

Does the bilt hamber qd mask strong hydrophobics from a wax or sealant? Anyone can answer if they use it btw.

At 20:1, it does nothing beyond being a good drying aid. At 5:1 it adds loads of gloss and looks stunning (on my 3yr old always protected ford blue) over DSW or bsd. Not tried stronger than that because 5:1 is just lovely and dead easy to use.

Hi Jon could you review Polishangel Rapid Waxx?. Best spray wax I have come across.
@ForensicDetailing14 күн бұрын
proper old school solvent based wax emulsion mate. beads well but its overpriced for what it is. I think price is the biggest problem with polish angel. people wont pay the money for it mate.

I don’t get these products. I’ll wash the car then a day later it’ll be covered in dust, pollen, insect shit etc. Is this product safe for removing this ? When does it get to the point of having to wash the car again anyway ? At the moment i’m getting birds shitting on my car daily. Using the KOCH-CHEMIE FSE QUICK DETAILER at the moment and have done for years (mainly because of water spots after washing)
@ForensicDetailing13 күн бұрын
not really safe mate. no. light dust and pollen you cuold use it. not inserts or bird crap really.

yer the gloss readings are low with it. its also thick and glupey and sticky and not slick. It beads like crazy though and its decent price.
@tonyosullivan238214 күн бұрын
I've never found it sticky or hard to apply. Its a perfect winter product in my opinion.

Yes, I gave up on QD sprays years ago. A rinseless loss at QD dilution is a much more affordable option where you aren't paying for mostly water.
