I really appreciate Ian's work. I haven't bought his products, because they tend to be a bit pricey. I know that he has to cover his R&D costs, and the fact that he's pretty much the owner/operator/builder/team. Unfortunately, because of his prices, I will tend to look at more established brands like Pilot, Faber-castell, Lamy that are priced in same neighborhood as Ian's pens.

Great video! Still on the fence on purchasing the Monoch. I don't think the nib has tipping material/iridium. Pretty sure the it's just the titanium folded into the tip. Which is pretty cool.

Great video! Thanks for the light-hearted yet practical review. Schon design should give you a discount on their pens. 😁 This review has encouraged me to go BACK to their site again and look at the options. Their prices are out of my reach but, you are so convincing! As far as COVID and virus infections in general, I had Mono 40years ago (yea, I’m an old gal), and that darn virus rears it’s ugly head when I over-extend myself. Exhaustion, bad memory, brain fog. Ian’s work is amazing. I really like my Monoc nib, he’s got a fine version now.. I want it.. naturally. Fun vid. Weirdly, I love how the Monoc writes on Cosmo Air Light.. geez… I had not heard that it’s being discontinued.. Hoping you’re fully healed now. 🫶🏽
