The satin finish is not only gorgeous but it feels amazing. This is a beautiful pen. It’s so lovely and tactile. I had mine ground into a CI medium. It’s a fav pen of mine.

Wow that took a long time. I think you would have been better buying it at a pen show premade. I saw a pen liked watching a SF penshow video. It was made by his daughter who is also a pen maker Fountain Telling, and I had it by the end of the week. Your pen is lovely. I think that Jonathan tunes and smooths the nibs before they go out. It's a lovely pen even though it took so long to get to you. The satin finish is lovely.

Beautiful pen & I love the satin finish! Abalone [precious resin] is definitely on my wish list for a pen. BUT 2 years?! Holy crap! I'm relatively patient (at least I am now!lol) but 2 years is kind of insane. Are you going to the CO Pen Show this year?

Sadly, I will not be going to the CO pen show this year. I'm not sure when I might make that happen.

@@MysteryArts I was holding out hope that I'd be able to make it but I honestly don't know. On the one hand, I'd love to because it's a smaller show and perhaps not as overwhelming as a larger show would likely be (?) but we've had unexpected expenses the last few months; plus, I'm trying to be on a 'No Buy' as well. So I dunno....going to a show might be too much temptation.😬🤑🤯
