I think Disney channel bullies where inspired by real bullies from back when the director was a kid .but even in the early 2000s things weren't that bad. the director probably grew up in the 1970s or 60s or even 50s.

It’s crazy how bullying isn’t taken so seriously. School do anything but actually take care of the problem. I hope one day the schools actually give out proper punishment for it and bullying becomes minimized. No one should go through that.

And stop punishing the kids who fight back. My fraternal twin brother broke a bully’s nose in self defense, the school tried to expel him. Our family lawyer raised Cain and threatened to sue the school, the faculty, and the district. They caved as a result.

I was also bullied. Both mentally and physically throughout elementary and middle school. It wasn't until 8th grade when I decided to dip and switch to online school. I won't get into any details on what I went through, because it was a lot. Coming from experience, teachers don't do sh*t, there's a 95% chance a teacher won't actually do something. Even then, the bullying will probably get worse because you told a teacher. When it comes to bullies, you gotta fight fire with fire. Of course, don't go around getting into fights with people, but you also shouldn't let it slide. Edit: typos lol

You just gotta stand up for yourself. Modern bullying is just insecure kids trying to impress their friends. I was a quiet kid who didn't have any friends but I was pretty muscular so people didn't really mess with me until I started wearing sweatshirts. Everytime someone tried to mess with me I would tell them in a calm voice that if they do it again I'd beat their ass in front of the entire class. It has always worked and I never actually had to fight anyone but if I ever did, I would be ready since I did some mma.

Fr! Even if you are weak and get folded, ppl recognize there are smaller fries and will avoid someone who fights back a bit more. As a weird anime/gaming theatre nerd who started lifting the bar for my bench in my freshman year, it leveled off when I joined track, got in a scuffle or two (some of them were just me snapping out of anger of something little), lifted weights, and joined wrestling after quitting drama in junior year. Still got clowned on by a bit, but it is more refreshing in memory that you at least threw hands (or tried to) and showed your resolve rather than let those losers intimidate you.

Throughout my childhood, I was bullied both physically and mentally. When I was in elementary school, my brother and I would go to this summer camp because both of our parents worked and they didn’t want to pay for a babysitter. Whenever I was there, they would put both of us in a group of kids that were older than us, and those kids would spend most of the day bullying us. Not only that, but the counselors didn’t give two shits because they’re high school and college students getting paid minimum wage. I bet they’re like “just three more hours then I won’t have to deal with these little shits.” When I got into middle school, I saw some physical bullying in the hallways, but most of it was mental or cyber. For some reason, the bullies I had to deal with were ones who were nice in front of me, but talked shit behind my back. They would even lie to me to try to get me to do shit, but luckily I learned that the hard way in elementary school.

10 years ago, you got bullied if you were a nerd. It's that simple. However, nerds had friend groups back then, making it much more bearable to be a nerd. Nowadays, if you're not popular, you get bullied. Even if you pretend to act exactly like them, it's already too late; they've already chosen you to be a punching bag. Any little thing you do, they'll pick on you for it. It's annoying. What's worse is that nerds are afraid to talk to anyone nowadays, fearing that anyone they talk to could be a gossiping normie who will cause them to get bullied even more. As a result, nerds are very kept to themselves and often don't have friends, which is paradoxically what often gets them to be picked on. There's no winning.

Back when I was in like grade 8, there was a guy in 10th grade who was picking on me for no real reason. I knew that his mom was my English teacher, so I decided to become an absolute menace to his mom. I was unbearable in class, I was arguing, calling her out, once we even got into a 20 minutes long screaming fit. BUT she could never cause me to fail the class because I was absolutely aceing all assessments, and whenever she'd give me a low mark, I would go to other teachers to have them read it and complain to the principal. This continued for 2 years until the guy graduated and the teacher left the school. TL:DR, a guy bullied me in school, so I bullied his mom.

I was bullied from 3 grade to 5th grade. I was that one outcast that has too much hyper and is very naive. (In fact I still do have that side of me just not as much now) they thought I was cringe and yeah they bullied me out of it because of it. But I kept the optimistic side of me and was able to get through it. I was able to gain the courage to tell the teacher and she took it very seriously. But still, it made me be a little insecure about myself and be more mentally sensitive. It also doesn’t help the fact that I came from a very poor background and used to be abused my my parents. In fact some people from my class still hates me. This person told me to shut the [____] up and made me cry a bit. She also talk about me behind my back saying hateful things. At this point I feel like everyone is pretty immature at my school. I’m now thinking about my future, they think about popularity and makeup. I don’t have a love interest yet due to how young I am, they already started dating and got in trouble with their parents. I do my best to do small kind acts to make the world better, they are too lazy to do it. Etc It may look like the popular kids are more mature than me. However it’s because I prefer to show my inner child a little more often than others.

This is how you avoid being bullied at school. 1. Give answers to everyone including the "cool kids" and most of them will respect you 2. Try to fit in 3. Don't snitch I started doing these 3 steps and i don't really fit in their "cool kid" friend group but most of them respect me. I try to make jokes with them but they dont really work out. Im just glad most of them respect me and dont bug me

I was also a teacher's pet. However, unlike most teacher's pets, it was more one-sided, and I didn't like when I was considered a teacher's pet. People never bullied me about that, but when I was in 2nd grade, a 5th grader bullied be by calling me "baby" just because I was younger than them. He actually apoligized, but 1 second later, he said that my teeth were ugly (That was before I started wearing braces)

I'm autistic so I act differently. It was pretty fine in primary school but when I moved up to high school I was treated like shit and it was really overwhelming, I was also a bit of a snitch because I thought that was the right thing to do; it just made things worse for me. After about a year I got the hang of how to act in high school and things blew over but I had a lasting fear of people thinking negativity of me or bullying me, so I basically did everything I could to fly below the radar and act as if I didn't exist. In my final year, a bunch of kids started randomly worshipping me just to take the piss outta me, it got so bad that I ended up having a panic attack.

The ironic thing about my school life is that even my friend bully me, yeah I may be dumb and dense from the outside but on the inside, I'm still a pretty good guy. This is all happening right now in my life and I genuinely feel lonely and depressed, I don't know what to do and there's nobody in school that I can trust. It's sound sad, that's cus it is. My "friends" are also one of the only reasons why i rant a lot.

It's one thing to justifiably slam a kid down to the ground on their back for borrowing something of yours without your permission, but it's another thing to criticize and harass someone just for being different from you or for simply not liking that person for whatever stupid reason (especially on a daily basis). Those are some examples of things that I have done to someone else (former) and experienced personally (latter).
@awildjared13968 ай бұрын
I haven't seen a whole lot of the former because schools are pushing so hard against it now, but the latter happens all the time on social media. For the latter my rule of thumb is: only bully them if they're going out of their way to piss you off (ex. someone in the lunch line cuts you, and then takes 3 minutes to decide what they want)
@awildjared13968 ай бұрын
really depends on how they are raised, spoiled ultra-sensitive rich kids need more, average child that was raised well needs less
