School bus driver charged with DUI after slamming into N.J. home

A school bus slammed into a home in West Caldwell, New Jersey, on Friday. There were no students on board, but the driver had just dropped them off, and police say he was driving drunk. CBS2's Nick Caloway spoke to the homeowner, who has to find a place to sleep tonight.

Nikki Ahmed me Too , been in that situation! A drunk neighbor crashed into my house few yrs ago a little past midnight, almost killing my newly married child , fly members & myself !! That day there was an Angel watching over us , just few mins b4 we decided to move from where sitting to go to bed ! V grateful & thankful for being saved but believe me it’s 11 yrs the sound of that impact still comes back sometimes! Glad that we all have great sense of humor & are still laughing over it many times

There needs to be a federal law that ALL bus drivers in EVERY STATE, TOWN, CITY, NEIGHBORHOOD, SUBURBANS have to take a Drug test, as NFL players do, Pee in a cup, suspend them while it is being processed, this would save many schools money... I swear, the guy who said he should have put better bushes, I dont know if it was true but it isnt his fault nor the bus drivers fault. The school is at fault for insufficent drug and BAC testing. The school is lucky to still be running, but they need a new school board for sure. #DrugAndAlcoholTestForBusDrivers! Support it, please.
