100% When I was a student in a Christian school, there was at least 3 kids there to be "reformed". I knew one of them, and he was a product of poor parenting - the parents were tearing down anything beneficial the school taught. One never returned after the summer vacation, the other two caused tragedies years later as adults. It's a real nightmare when a teenager has psychiatric or personality disorders and gets dumped into a Christian school. IMO: Audrey Hale was another one.

I disagree. The Michigan parents who were convicted with their son are the only parents I’ve ever seen in these cases who knew there was a problem & refused to do anything; wouldn’t even take him home that day. If you arrest everyone parent of a shooter, then you’ve gotta arrest every adult who’s not the best parent. We’d have more parents in jail than on the streets. The one thing that caused this shooting more than anything else is the fact that her parents remarried & divorced 3 times, giving her a chaotic home life where she never felt safe. We’ve got to arrest everyone who is divorced, especially people who remarry & bring a non-parent & non-biological sibling into their home, taking away their feeling of safety & of being important. We as a country can’t even admit that divorce destroys children’s lives or that the Sexual Revolution has destroyed our country. Heck, we can’t even say facts like men can’t give birth without death threats & losing your job.

Might as well come out and say it: she obviously was from an abusive family. She reached out to some stranger online, someone who probably told her he would help or protect her in some way, and then got the idea that she was all big and tough, grabbed her daddy's gun, then went to the school to "prove" herself. She wound up seeing what shot people really look like, realized what she'd done, and couldn't take it. She was already depressed, anxious, and abused so bad in the first place that her mind had already snapped, so now she was out of her mind. That explains it. People have got to stop acting like peoples' brains can't "snap" one day and truly be injured, chemically speaking. I've watched it happen to people. It's a real thing. A child's brain can't just forever take all the trauma that over-grown childish "parents" or other adults put them through or even expose them to. Even when parents never lay a hand on their child, they are still abusing their children by exposing them to the trauma of watching their parents hate each other. That is real child abuse and we have to start treating it as such. Yes, kids should be legally allowed to sue their parents for exposing them to narcissistic abuse, even just of each other or other family members, much less of themselves. We need family courts where kids can sue their parents and win over things like this. It's time parents were actually policed in their own homes. That's the only way to put a stop to all this abusive nonsense everyone's growing up with and then exacting on their own kids after having them. It's not enough to say "the buck stops with me." Kids need to be legally able to sue their parents for the money it takes to pay better foster parents to provide better care for them. No child should have to grow up with everything so many of our parents dumped on us as children.
