I hated assemblies all together, even in elementary school, cuz they happened during recess, not class. The crosswalk one was crazy too. I remember The Duck talking about it in his Dumb School Rules video. Walking on the wrong side of the hallway?! That's what i heard in middle school, they treated the hallway like the street. Where we walk on the right side of the hall. And if we had to go into class on the left side of the hall, we had to walk all the way to the end of the hall and turn around to go the other way.

I'm 38 so I'm probably a boomer at this point. I love watching Burdie's videos bc it keeps me in the loop of what's going on with the newer generation. I have a 13 year old son who is in 7th grade and all the problems he comes to me with, are literally the SAME problems me and my crew went through. As far as cyber bullying goes...you find out who is talking s*** and you knock his teeth out. I GARAUNTEE they stop. I remember a few weeks ago, there was this senior assassination game taking place in my high school where around 100 senior participants in trying to get each other out with squirt/water guns. The twist is they have to do it without getting spotted. So some of the students prepped up during lunch period and waited around there targets 6th period class, so one kid got the bright idea to load up with like 10 water guns alongside his 3 friends got in a car and waited for their target and try and do a drive by on em. Meanwhile a teacher from the second floor saw the 4 of them in the car and when she couldn't see what they were holding, she immediately called the police. About 5 minutes later, police came with shotguns and AR's. They quickly broke through their car window, yelled at them drop their "weapons" when in reality their were holding some cheap af water guns they bought from Walmart. One of the boys decided to open his side door and haul ass on out of there to which he was quickly tackled so hard by one of the officers, he sprained his leg in the process . In conclusion, 4 boys got arrested and spent a good 2 days in jail as the news spreaded quickly as it sparked huge arguments in class between students and teachers on whether or not it was justified or an overreaction.

I'm honestly glad i dont go to school these days since I've already graduated before Gen Alpha was a thing. i remember when I was in highschool in my junior year, there was one time that I remember someone that did something crazy to the wall of my math class which was massive splatter of mayo on the wall and as someone who easily laughs at most things when I heard the math teacher got so mad I heard her shout which ended up making me laugh and I wasn't even the one who splattered that on the wall. My P.E. Teacher is kinda lame First, we can’t bring water bottles with us no matter what unless we had a note. I had strep and was able to go to school because I was treated and felt fine. I still had a fairly bad sore throat and stomach pains every now and then. We have to run a lap everyday, and I didn’t know that today, we would be doing it outside rather than inside. I ran, at a very slow, slow, slow pace, and was out of breath and was hurting. I had to walk. A kid beside me just straight up stood there for a moment to catch a breather and was running at the same pace as me, my P.E. Teacher only called my name to keep running. Idk if that kid had a note or something, but anyways, I stayed walking for a bit, until I recovered. I got back and asked if I could go in and get a drink of water, he said no. I was dying. Few weeks later, I got strep again, and when I could go back to school, I couldn’t run though. Same thing happens, but this time I snuck into the locker room when we had to go outside by saying I had to go to the bathroom. Next week, I somehow got strep AGAIN. And then my P.E. Teacher had enough when I got back and couldn’t run. He told me I should try my best even though I literally could only run for just under 5 seconds without extreme pain. I told him I was sick for the past 2 weeks or so, and that’s why I couldn’t run very much. He then said that I was lying and it wasn’t just that I felt sick, which by the way, normally I can do a fairly fast run for half a lap around the gym, which is just barely shorter than the football field. So when my mom picked me up, I told her about this, and she got me a note that I don’t have to run if I feel sick. Luckily, I didn’t have an asthma attack and couldn’t go to the nurse like my brother, or step on a bee while running barefoot because I forgot to bring running shoes and still had to run 2 laps like my sister’s friend. But still very painful. Thank you for reading, I know that was very long 😅

I hated school so much i graduated 10 years ago so it has probably changed a lot but the boredom was extreme. they banned game consoles in high school .we all had cheap nokia phones that could play snake .one guy had some weird phone with a keyboard that could play videos and had very slow internet he was very cool .we would talk about the stuff we saw on the internet .but we had no way to show it. we had little time to spend on the school computers we had to hurry. but the internet was so slow by the time we loaded up runescape or miniclip we where out of time. in kindergarten we had nothing like that. our school didn't even have computers yet it was a different millennium. we where always fighting each other with sticks and throwing rocks and obsessing over Pokémon. the teachers would smoke in class. in the early 2000s when yugioh not popular there was a lot of drama. the kids organised a tournament but if you lost you had to give up your cards to the winner .the parents got very angry because those cards where not cheap.
