Cyrus always seems like the least thoughtful, most emotional of the Bay Are sports people. "Restore diversity"? 3-pointers are only around 43% of shots taken. So that will have to grow another 7 % until there is even BALANCE between 3 pointers and 2. The game is more fun and sophisticated than it has ever been. Most teams that over-rely on the 3 fail. The best team in the league in the Celtics not because they chuck 3s, but because they have amazing roster construction, 5 out spacing, ferocious/smart defense and GOOF 3 point shooters. The game is in a great place. Forcefully reducing 3 pointers because you grew up with 90s NBA aesthetics would be a huge mistake.
