I own one of these (the Tanto) and it works Amazing (I did had to remove the black coating on it but it's and amazing EDC. They are meant to be assisted by the wrist since they aren't spring asisted.

I picked this set up last Monday. All of mine were a little stiff, like yours. I'll work on them later. For 5 bucks a knife, I'm not going to complain. Going to use mine as back-up knives in kits.All of mine are solid (no movement either way), and not one of them had blade centering. A good ceramic rod on each of mine, and minor additional serration sharpening should be good. They all have the same model number on them (SCP17-74)... must be a model number for the set. Thanks Sherm... first review I've seen on the set.

I would epoxy that loose scale to the liner on that last knife to keep it from moving . They had a ton of these still at my Wal-Mart. I'm hoping they will clearance them after Christmas.

My Walmart carries the Schrade 4-pack also a Kershaw 2-pack with 3cr13mov steel and a 3-pack Gerber paraframe folders. Would like to see your review on the Schrade 4-pack if you get the time

I have had many Schrade knifes but was never overly impressed. When I saw these at Walmart I checked them out and did a "Oh! Hum!" and put the pack back and left. 2 blocks later I did a U turn, went back and got the pack. When I opened the pack at home I was really pleased. 1 because these appeared to be real nice knives . 2 each knife was slightly different from the other and the blades were tactical black. Basically 4 different knives. 3 Sharp enough to shave hair on my arm and yes I cut myself. 4 these are serious knives I like the tanto blade and the drop points. The construction seems to be good and after opening and closing a few times eased up just enough to be smooth and fast. I give this deal a high rating. And I like the gift boxes so I can gift out the ones I don't want. Hey Terry! Guess what your getting for your birthday.

I bought the same 4 pack, all the knives are sharp,ok looking, but the action is weak.The largest flipper and handle knife with serrated blade is my favorite, my Wal-Mart put them on sale after Christmas $15.00!! Great Video!!!

Wow. You guys really should be grateful getting each of those for just 5$. Here it can get to MYR120 for each knife, yeah, the same knife you got for 5 dollar, we get it 20x more expensive. (MYR120 = USD30)
