Schuberth E1 and SC10U - One Small Problem

I love this helmet and the intercom is very nice as well but I did hit a snag that could be fixed by Schuberth in a few minutes.

You can find the full manual online and tons of videos showing how to install it.. but glad to know this is the only problem!

Great vid mate. I picked up my E1 from Helmet City whilts traveling in the UK. On special for £400! They're mostly over $1,000 at home in Aus. Like you said, great helmet and mmmmm feels nice 👍

Have you ruled out the specific model for the E1 (SC10U)? I can't fault it.

@@AndypaddockCoUk I just came back and looked at your video. I still haven't decided on a system for the E1. I've tried several wired systems for my Harley and decided that I do need to get a system to use on my KLR 650 and ZZR1200. The SC10UA seems to be a good solution. BTW, I didn't receive notification of your question seven months ago, sorry.

I didn't wish to revisit the installation as there is a video done by them so didn't make a video on it. Their video was nice and comprehensive. As far as opinion goes I'm still loving the setup and the issues with the box are long forgotten.

Hiya buddy... great video and I feel your excitement!! I've just purchased the C3 Pro Echo Yellow with the SC10U intercom system, handle bar remote and Bluetooth audio gopro pack!! The settings are all wrong to their user guide!! I'm having a bloody nightmare pairing the back pack with the intercom system... Sorely disappointed with SENA considering how good they are... enjoy your lid :-)

I watched the Sena how to video I had 2 E1 helmets to do, a bit fiddly but sorted. A bit of a con with the handle bar control now an extra at £85 where's before it came with helmet.

They made a very simple installation guide, but seems you want it more complicated ? Maybe let the shops fit them and leave it to the experts !!

Does anyone suffer from static noise with sc10u im usimg two sc10ua and sound is terrible full of ststic noise while on intercom 30-50cm apart while bluetooth sound is awesome and clear omly intercom makes me want to throw it into garbage.

It fits better than my Shoei and that set quite a high bar. I not sure if I should tell you the size, don't want to called bomb head, my Shoei is an XL and this one may or may not have another X.

Haha bomb head, I always thought I was a 60 with previous head wear, but measured the head yesterday and I’m a 58. My current helmet gives me a sore head and after doing some research Schuberth maybe the answer.

Most helmets give me pressure on both sides of my head just above my temple, the E1 feels like I'm getting a hug from a teddy bear.

Have a look at helmet city (after getting a fitting somewhere) it's hard to find an E1 but the C3 Pro is same shell.

You can have the box, as long as those little cheap red button things STAY buttoned, FFS... lol Cram things behind a weak closure is just ridiculous. The mike and volume controls are always floating around due the poor closure... DO BETTER Schuberth
