Correction: The Jordan Rules weren't setup by the NBA to protect Jordan. The Jordan Rules were setup by the Pistons on their strategy of how to take MJ out of his game. The plan was to beat him up whenever he tried to drive the lane or whenever he was close to the basket, so he would stay on the perimeter. Just wanted to clear that up. Because from their description, it's making it sound like the league setup rules to protection and coddle MJ, when that wasn't the case.

@@abelincon8472 Yea, that's wrong. You're still not getting the point. The Jordan Rules weren't created by the NBA preventing the Pistons from fouling MJ hard. The Jordan Rules were derived by the Pistons on how to stop MJ. The NBA didn't actually come up up with "The Jordan Rules" as a real set of rules. They changed how they called games. Similar to the NFL with the "Horse collar Tackle" and "Tuck" Rules. MJ didn't have to complain. The Pistons were toying with the NBA's bottom line, Money! If MJ is put on the sideline for a season because they broke his foot, then that's impacting the whole league. It was simply in their interests to stop the Pistons "Jordan Rules". MJ didn't have to complain, it was going to happen.

See you guys are talking out here as if the controversy is over "joking about trans people", and it's an understandable mistake. @@TMcGee123 Actually, as someone who was very into religious debates and Atheism vs. religion, a decade ago, I'm seeing some pretty sad and alarming similarities between the religious and woke culture (in general, which now inseparably includes the LGBT community). For both the religious and the woke the slightest bit of criticism or joke can be perceived as an outright attack. In case of the LGBT community and their straight virtue-signaling allies, some, as I have noted from recent experience, even replace the word "joke" with "attack", automatically. They don't say "Why is Chappelle making jokes about...?" No. It's "Why is he attacking us?" They genuinely feel attacked. I'd say it's absolutely baffling, but...it's not, anymore. I understand WHY they feel attacked and why their visceral vitriolic reaction is what it is. The problem is THEY don't understand. It's the hardest to see one's own faults/biases. They'd first have to realize they have a bias that's the reason for their irrational hostility. Then they'd have to ADMIT to it. But, both the people from the LGBT community and their straight allies are utterly incapable of noticing their own behavior (and where it comes from), much less admit to it. Because for them to admit to it, they'd first have to realize and accept that they're actually wrong about certain things. But, they're in a bubble, where everyone who's LGBT/woke/progressive cannot be wrong. They haven't learned, even after the Jussie Smollett case. I remember Elliot Page being vocal and very emotional about how disgusting the attack was. And of course, if it had been a genuine attack he'd have every right to be upset and vocal about it. Every decent person could sympathize. But, since it was revealed what really happened, I haven't heard a peep from him or anyone who was angry about it back then. No admittance that they were wrong and quick to judge the situation. Because what they'd have admit would be two-fold. For one, they'd have to admit that they themselves were wrong, but they could only do that if they'd also admit that a gay man, someone of the LGBT community, was able to lie and deceive people as a ploy to gain public sympathy. They could admit to none of that, which shows that their MO is really to keep themselves, to keep one another, firmly running within their own narrative (separate from reality) that their community doesn't lie or cannot have any faults or be unreasonable ever. If anyone even dares to suggest their side has some faults then those people are either "being racist and bigoted" or they "need to be better allies." And their straight allies will also, unfailingly and predictably, defend them with the same reaction, like good, unthinking drones of a cult, because today, this whole wokeness HAS become akin to a cult.

It's insane that any one group thinks they are above getting poked fun at. There is no hate in his jokes. The simple act of telling jokes about that group doesn't make you transphobic. They are casting themselves in a negative light by trying to be above comedy. If their intention is to be included, then stop doing things that make it clear you want to be different. Trying to literally change how the English language is written and spoken just to appease one group is insane. Chappelle pointing that out isn't hate. He literally says, "How much do I have to participate in your self image." Basically they are demanding everyone get on board with them or be deemed evil. Chappelle, at the end of the special says, "It isn't about them, it's about us, and they aren't listening." He's saying this group is demanding the respect that black people are still fighting for today. But they are trying to destroy anyone who at all disagrees with them. Imagine if black people tried to destroy anyone who disagreed with them? All Chappelle is doing is holding up a mirror. If they don't like what they see, it says more about them, not him.

He is a danger to their movement because other black people listen to and respect chappelle. Alex Jones says something and they don’t care as much because they’re dismissive of him anyway because that’s how he’s supposed to act.

Maybe. But he stated before that he voted for Hillary and Obama. They're just not going for anyone hurting their relationship chances. A big name is always good to target because it gives them more chances for exposure. There are plenty of "black" trans, homosexuals of multiple skin tones who aren't acting like this, feminist, Asian, European Jews who haven't said anything remotely like these anarchists. That's all they are. Many just want anarchy and when they realize the hell they've caused for themselves they can't take it.
